Overall good

I’ve worn boots from Timberland, Redback, Danner, Helm, Lowa and TG. The previous Timberlands I owned were part of the pro line, but the model has been discontinued.I’m employed as a pipefitter working in a commercial setting. I purchased these boots in Nov 2022, as of this review they’re almost 2 months old. I typically work on concrete or in dirt/mud and walk 6-10 miles per shift and usually climb 10-20 flights of stairs. The boots have not been subject to any conditions outside of a standard construction site.Both sets of laces have nearly torn, and there is a hole developing in the heel of the left boot. I can’t rationalize boot laces lasting anything less than 6 months. The fact that the boots already have structural damage is an immediate deal breaker.Other considerations:The boots are not water resistant, certainly not waterproof. I had expected timberlands “pro” line would offer at least marginal water resistance- they don’t, in any capacity above the sole of the boot.The toe box is considerably smaller than the width throughout the forefoot and the ball of the boot.In conclusion: structural damage, no water resistance, poor sizing, and needing to replace parts- after less than 60 days, I will spend my money elsewhere in the future. I regret I even spent the time breaking them in.
