Someone else wrote ‘expensive for what you get’ and that is a succinct description. I bought this poncho for a weekend hiking trip. I didn’t open it until I needed it on the mountain, mistake number 1, to my chagrin the hood began to tear upon removal from the bag it comes in. This tear slowly moved down the front of the frock until it reached the bottom, like a zip up hoodie, minus the zip. The crappy thing is you only need these things when you really need them. I was drenched and almost tripped down a rock face once the thing tore entirely and was waving around my ankles. During this very hike my friend had a SJK brand frock from Walmart, which is $2 more expensive than this one; it was of exceptional quality. He was both less wet and startled than me at the end of the day.
