Q: Did anyone notice dark crystalized substance on top of dropper as soon as unsealing it? Is color supposed to be brown? Thanks!

I've been using this for a few years now. It works wonderfully! The color is brown. Maybe because it is bacon flavored? It does get some crystallization around the top. Maybe this is due to the flavorings? I shake it real well before I use it. It has never been a problem. Pet WellBeing has a great customer service chat feature on their website. If you are really concerned about it I am sure they would answer this question definitively.

Q: Can I use this without giving insulin shots?

Hi there, The Blood Sugar Gold is a fantastic support for diabetes. It helps how insulin is absorbed and that can help reduce the amount given over time. The Blood Sugar Gold also helps with symptoms of diabetes. Keep in mind, this formula is not a replacement for insulin. Unfortunately there is no replacement at this time so if you are giving insulin or need to, it is suggested to use both at the same time. You can work with your veterinarian too in reference to changing the dosage of the insulin. Please let us know if you need anything else.

Q: How long does a 2 oz bottle last?

It will depend on the size of the dog because If I remember correctly you will use 1 drop to 2 lbs. our dog was 12lbs, bottle lasted about 4 months. I feel the product extended her life, she lived for almost 1 more year after diagnosed with diabetes.
