Use at your own risk, better to have help
Oh lord, I watched maybe 100 videos before getting the kit. I felt educated and prepared, but boy was I wrong. The gauge on these needles are a 14g, the same size as the bar, so I had to purchase 13g needles. The bar fit perfectly in the threading though. Piercing with the needle didn't hurt at all btw, went right in. I didn't numb, and had zero pain. The con to doing this on yourself is you can't properly mark yourself and determine exactly where to place the clamp. I ended up grabbing too much skin in the clamp. The proper way to pierce is to go from bottom to top so you can thread the bar through the needle. So seeing from the underside while trying to push a needle is scary and difficult. You risk the needle going in crooked as well. I thought I had marked correctly and put the clamp on center. Got the needle pushed out and the bar in, and it was too short! Even with these bars being 1/2 long instead of the standard 3/8, it still wasn't long enough. I didn't want to risk the chance of swelling and getting an infection or an inbedded ball from the jewelry being too tight. So I immediately took it out. Really sucked, but belly piercings have a hard enough time healing when their done textbook, so better safe than end up with a rejected piercing. I'm going to pray I don't get scar tissue, and go get it professionally done once it's fully healed. It's been about a week and it's closed up nicely, zero pain or bruising. Doesn't feel like any hard scar tissue is forming and the holes are disappearing.

This was amazing. I was scared about how difficult it would be to get the needle through the skin but it slid right in. I didn't feel it at all and barely had to put pressure, very sharp needle. Only fault was the ring itself was a tad larger than the needle but I got it in the hole somehow so I will not downgrade my review to four stars, I will keep it at five. It has been almost a week since I have pierced my belly and I thought it was rejecting but it wasn't so yay! Not the kits fault it were anyway. I totally recommend this to anyone who wants to cheap out and do it at home like I did. I do all my piercings myself and this is the first time I bought the proper material and I do not regret it!

LOVED IT! š¤
Okay so! First things first, Iāve wanted my belly button pierced for the longest time! I never wanted to go pay for it & after i pierced my nose myself Iāve been on a kick!⢠It was easy to use! Definitely giving 5 stars! The needle was sharp! It wasnāt hard to push it through. I didnāt numb it or anything. I simply marked the spot I wanted, used the clamp & locked it down. (The clamp has ridges on the bottom that locks it into place. I clamped as hard as I could to keep the skin tight. That was the only part that hurt,)⢠I read the other reviews and they were surly right! The needle hole & the actual piercing hole was to 2 different sizes! Not a big deal, though. All i did was push the belly ring in through the bottom and wiggled it through at the top and put the ball on!⢠I gave it 3 stars for the value of money only because the clamp was a tad bit flimsy & the needle size wasnāt big enough but again these are all things you can work past! Highly recommended!

Needle is sharp
I numbed myself before hand for about 10 minutes and the needle slid it perfectly! the jewelry didnt fit in the hollow needle so i had to thread it through as i took the needle out but it took about 2 minutes to get in the hole and i was feeling REALLY light headed and was bleeding a lot which stopped when i got the jewelry in the hole but iām sure it was because it was passed 3 and i havenāt eaten whatsoever all day š i also had help the hole time besides sticking the needle in, just to put the jewelry in because i couldnāt have done it myself .

One of those buy at your on risk. Good luck hope they are offering better jewelry
Not very good quality! the piercing jewelry was horrible. The nose rings would sink into the Piercing hole (yes correct smallest gauge was used) which in return the skin of the nose was growing over my friend and her daughter's nose ring. The only good thing was it appeared the needles and clamp were truly brand new and in stylization packaging.
