Hartz Ultraguard Reflecting Flea and Tick Collar, White

My catdog (Jack) had tape worm. First step get rid of all flees. capstar pill, and this collar. I had no more flee and tick problems since. That was the easy part. He also seemed to attracts ticks more then any animal I've ever seen. I haven't seen one since putting this on him months ago! This collar worked great for me. The Tapeworms were a different story. I gave up go to the vet get the 40 dollar pill. Save your self time and money. I have yet to find anything that works for Tapeworms but that 40 pill. Probably why shelters don't bother treating for Tapeworms.

Ensure you clean your cat of all fleas before you put the collar on. If the cat is heavy flea infested already its not expected to be as effective. The only issue I feel is a strong fragrance which is good for me but I am not sure how the cat is dealing with it.

I especially like the good work this collar does to keep fleas off of my dog. The prescription medication is a bit costly and for less expense, I believe the collar works just as well. I will buy it again. My dog doesn't seem to even realize there is another collar on him in addition to his standard collar. I do recommend this product.

Arrived in good condition sealed in plastic bag in a box. Works ok to kill fleas. My complaint is the length of collar is a little too short to go around some of my cats' necks. The price varies per seller. It is cheaper than the drops that you put on cats back. I recommend this collar.
