Pretty good shampoo I must say! Took out the yellow tones in my platinum blonde hair! I left it on for about 3 mins, shampoo and conditioner.I pay a lot of money to get my hair done so it’s nice to find a purple shampoo that I can use in between my salon visits. Scent could be a little better, but I feel like all purple shampoos smell funky! Over all I definitely recommend for my fellow platinum blondes!

SO DRYING. There must be a lightening agent in this. Holy crap. MY HAIR IS SO DAMAGED NOW 😭I am LIVID. And heartbroken. I have long, beautiful 2B hair. I spent years growing it out without using any chemicals, and decided to get highlights this year because I was tired of the "brown blanket". My stylist is brilliant and we both used a bond repair treatments on it, so it felt very soft and healthy.I BABY my hair. I wash it once a week, only use soft Tshirts to dry it, pay for high end products, etc. Which is why I am KICKING myself for not investing in an expensive purple shampoo/conditioner.This product destroyed my 5 years of growth and my $500 color investment in a matter of minutes. As I write this I have coconut oil dripping down my face trying to get my hair to a place WHERE I CAN RUN MY FINGERS THROUGH IT. It's breaking off in my hands and my scalp is on fire. I followed the instructions. It smelled like chemicals and I wish I would have taken that to mean it's NOT OKAY :( This is the worst experience I've ever had with a beauty product.I can't believe this is legal to sell. I don't understand the positive reviews at all. As soon as I rinsed this out I could feel each individual highlight tangled and beyond squeaky clean - disgusting. I spent an hour deep conditioning and gently trying to de tangle it in the shower. I used an entire bottle of bond repair treatment (not protein, I know better).I would rather have a cold then use this product. You could not pay me enough unless I was already planning to shave my head. So much time and energy taking care of my strands to be left with a noodle head. THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE COLOR DEPOSITING - WHY IS IT THIS INSANELY DAMAGING?! 😠I will NEVER forgive this horrible company for selling me this car wreck of a product. Only cars don't take FIVE YEARS to grow.UPDATE: THE WORST PRODUCT OF 2020. I AM SO ANGRY AT THIS COMPANY!!!!! I am not super sensitive and have never had problems with dye or bleach. THIS PRODUCT MADE MY HAIR FALL OUT. LISTEN TO WHAT OTHERS ARE SAYING. IT ALSO WILL NOT COME OUT OF MY HAIR AND TURNED MY BEAUTIFUL, EXPENSIVE HIGHLIGHTS INTO A GREENISH GREY COLOR. I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING TO GET THIS OUT. MY SCALP STILL HURTS AFTER WEEKS OF TREATMENT. I AM 27. THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE IN JAIL.

Throughout this shut-in period (which is still in effect in my area of PA), I have used this conditioner to maintain a platinum-level of "color" on the dyed portion of my hair. It has removed brassiness without creating a straw-like texture!!! I have used other less expensive products, as well, during this time period, but I have seen the BEST RESULTS, for my situation, when using THIS conditioner both with AND without its companion shampoo. MANY THANKS!!!

On it's own it's very effective at taking the yellow out. It doesn't smell bad but it does have that weird chemical smell a lot of purple shampoo/conditioners have. It conditions fairly well, but not as good as my normal conditioner. If your hair is bleached to a pale yellow, you may want to do a 1:1 mix with the purple conditioner and your normal conditioner. That's what I did and it turned out beautifully and even. For daily use, I do 1:4 with my normal conditioner and it keeps the yellow away without making it that dull grey color (like a lot of purple shampoos do).

I moved my next hair appointment back. I dont need the salon as often if I am using this. It makes my blonde look better and hides a lot of the brassy colors. It will leave purple streaks if you leave it in too long so just use caution or do a test strand to find the perfect time limit for your hair.
