Very happy with product design
These biking shorts are great. I am a Senior Citizen and although I am trim and fit, I no longer have the body of a triathlete so the skin tight biking shorts are a thing of the past. I am still doing 50+ miles per week of trail riding plus swimming almost every day. Staying fit is an important component of my retirement years. These biking shorts are very comfortable plus the deign features like the zip pockets and the waist adjustments make these shorts ideal for any biker. The fabric helps to keep me dry on longer rides. They go well with my HI-VIZ biking shirts. They wash up nicely and dry quickly and seem to be holding up well with a lot of miles on them. I saw them on line and am happy I took a chance and ordered them.

Nice shorts with padded liner attached
The size M will fit waist 32-35 (somewhat snugly). Quality looks good so far. The padded liner fits well on the heavier side of medium but may be a little loose on a slimmer person. It is not removable in this style but it is removable in the other style by same manufacturer (bought another, different design). Material is light and quick dry. Slanted pocket design is a little awkward; my cell phone barely fits in the pocket but I only take my keys with me when I go riding anyway, so it's not a problem. I wish the length was a little longer but that may be just my personal preference - I'm 5'10" tall and prefer longer riding shorts. The proof will be in seeing how long they last.

Great performance and value.
6/25/20 Update - I elected to purchase a third pair of these shorts, given my positive experience with pairs #1 and #2. I just received another quality product in a new color. These shorts have served me well. Durable and effective. They handle my two hour rides very well and have also handled multiple washings.==================I started biking again to break up my exercise routine. However, my tail feathers have been getting rather ruffled on longer rides, prompting me to look for some gear with padding. I bought a black pair of these shorts first to try them out. I’m a tad on the husky side, weighing in at 197lbs on a 5’7” frame. Some of the reviews complained about poor quality. I disagree. My pair came sealed in a handsome bag and appeared to be very well made. The XL was right for me and mirrored my normal size of running shorts. Only issue is that the internal padding rides low when I’m not on my bike. This makes walking a bit awkward. Once mounted on the saddle, however, the padding seems to instinctively conform to exactly where it needs to be. I did a 22 mile off/on road haul this past weekend, and the shorts performed like champs. Much less post ride crotch discomfort for sure. I was so pleased at their performance and value that I elected to purchase a second pair in gray. They, too, did not disappoint.

Comfortable, breathable, quick-drying, durable
I'm an ultra-endurance racer and ride my mountain bikes a LOT. These shorts have been great the past few months. Not the most comfortable chamois compared to some of my premium bib-shorts, but still exceptional and enough to keep me comfortable for up to a 4 or 5 hour ride. Material is comfortable and breathable, dries out quickly, and doesn't chafe for what short periods of time it is wet. Riding in the humid woods of the American southeast, this matters a lot; my normal cycling shorts lead to a lot of wet and damaged skin with how wet they'll get form sweat, but with these, I'm dry and comfortable all day.Pockets are a little awkwardly diagonal, but still fit a phone and a multitool just fine, so that's only barely a complaint. No zipper, so takes a bit more fenangling when nature calls, but again, how could you be mad about that for shorts this inexpensive? It doesn't get much better spending 3x this much. Did some big rides in DuPont and Boone-area Pisgah with these and they were comfy the whole time. 100% recommended.

Disappointing chamois
I bought these shorts for road biking when I don't feel like wearing lycra. The price was right and the styling was good. The shorts fit well and the material was comfortable. The one big negative was the chamois. I doesn't fit very well and barely offers adequate padding. I don't plan to buy another pair.

Styling while riding in padded comfort
I like these shorts for my more casual rides.Besides looking great they are very functional. The pockets are small but big enough for keys, cash or c/c. My IPhone fits but feels too tight as I pedal. The size is true. I had read they were cut small but did not find that the case. I needed to return the large I had purchased and trade it out for a medium. The exchange was seamless and they paid the postage. I have a 31-32 inch and the medium fits perfectly. They need to be pulled up to my waist line for the padding to seat well. That being said, there is no bunching, chaffing and lots of comfort for the none padded bottoms.

Worst fitting Bicycle shorts EVER!
And over many years i have worn many. The exterior shorts are fine, the bicycle short line is ill fitting and poorly designed. The pad hangs low and loosely in the crotch. I could not even walk around in them once putting them on. It was like carrying a load in your pants. I could not see getting onto a bike saddle with this line slopping around in the crotch while riding. This would be sure to cause a bad case of chafe.Note of late i have been riding about 125 miles a week. I had hoped to use these not on the longer rides but some of the town rides. I can not EVER see these working. You would be better served to use a bicycle short line under a pair of you more comfortable shorts. An update on the merry-go-round from the producers of these shorts. I finally got permission to return them after much back and forth. And so, i am asked to print out a mailing label and return mail them at my cost to CHINA! I should have suspected something rotten in the deal when as i order them it was a sic=x week delivery date. Still at that time they were well review so, what the heck. Well heck is right. As noted these are a disaster of manufacture. They are completely unusable as bike shorts. if you think there is any chance of having to return them DO NOT PURCHASE THEM. It a basic scam on the part of the china manufacturer with the permission of Amazon.
