Does this product stays clear or does it turn yellowish?

Plan to use on an outside table - Gets half sun and half day of shade. Using over boards that are stained and Sikens coated. Only problems with that

Can Envirotex be poured over an already existing polycrylic coat, or does it have to be sanded first? How many sq ft does the gallon size cover?

How much heat can this withstand? I want to use it for an island top and may need to put hot pans or cookie sheets on it.
