Strong as you need
Being 10% Permethrin is about as strong as you can get. It applies good in a sprayer. Yet some mites and bugs are becoming Permethrin resistant, so then you'll need a different combination of chemicals over time.

Very good
I recently purchased GORDON'S Permethrin 10 Livestock & Premise Spray to help control pests around my farm. I was impressed with how easy it was to use, and how effective it was at controlling a variety of insects, including ticks, fleas, flies, and mosquitoes. The 1-gallon container was enough to cover a large area, and the product was easy to dilute and apply using a sprayer. I was able to treat all of the surfaces in my barn, as well as my animals themselves, and saw a significant reduction in the number of pests present. While the product was effective, I did have some concerns about its safety, and would recommend using caution when applying it. The label instructions should be followed carefully, and all animals should be removed from the area before treatment. However, when used correctly, It is a reliable solution for controlling pests in and around livestock premises.Overall, I would give this product four stars for its effectiveness and ease of use. While it is important to use caution when handling insecticides, I feel that this product provided a safe and effective solution to my pest problems, and I would recommend it to others

I appears to work well. For my application, this time - I was after "yellow jacket" nests in a barn wall. I used a 6 oz to 1 Gallon mixture and when contacted some flying - got a "reaction". However, not like the "Powder" I normally if in the ground - I get more of a "reaction".My guess w/o trying it first is that 6:1 is functional, but 8:1 will have that greater reaction I like to see - "drunk flying" and mostly downed. There's so many species, so, who can say for sure.I plan on using this on the Cicade Killer Wasps, getting much larger now in August, post mating season to see if can get more of a no fly reaction. I'll probably mix this with that for that stopping power of the outside nest watchers. I would think that 10:1 would be a good way to go but will try 8 oz first (why waste it).I used a Quart at 6:1, but can not see inside the wall and am guessing at location. Typically "cells" are a little bit away from the opening, like in the Ground Bee version of these, so can't necessarily fault the ratio if the nest is not "killed" with outside gathers coming back.I hope that helps. As always, keep this stuff clear of any kinds of good pollinators, Bees, Mason Bees, any non-nuisance type.

Killed carpenter bees
Are you kidding??? Finally something to kill the carpenter bees that are eating my siding!! I sprayed this in the eaves and the next day had ten dead bees on the sidewalk. The rest are moving out, there are a few stragglers but now when I see them digging in, I spray the hole where they go in and they come out angry and dead. Very happy with this product
