Nice basic set of Duel Tipped Marking Pens
Tombow makes great duel tipped markers, and have done so for years. This bright set of 10 markers should be no different. Their markers (though now they call them pens) are versatile, come in a number of colors and sets, and the ink lasts a long long time, which is what makes Tombow such a popular choice for markers in general - and when they combine a brush tip pen with a regular tipped pen - you end up with two great markers in one. This set comes with two different pinks. one yellow, one orange two light greens, a greenish blue, a turquoise blue and a light and dark purple. Each marker does come with two caps - the large color cap you see in the photo fits the brush end of the marker, and a regular type cap covers the regular end. The caps stack one on top (or over) the other when using the marker. The ink used is also water based, and also acid free, which is important if you want to help preserve what you are doing with the marker. The inks are bendable as well,These markers take a long time to dry out if you accidentally lose the cap for the marker, which is why I purchased this set. While I only wanted to replace the single marker I had lost the cap on because I had not stacked the cap while I was using it, it was almost the same cost to purchase this set of 10 markers, one of which is very similar in color to the marker I had wanted to replace than it was to purchase the single marker of the same color. For reference, I lost the marker cap 8 weeks ago, and has sat uncapped since then. It was not new either, and only now is the marker really starting to write like a dried out marker. This is definitely a 5 star marker because you will get your money's worth with these markers if you are relatively careful with them. I took two stars off in the rating for being a good marker set for beginners, and in this regard, I am considering beginners as children mostly, but adults too that either may be hard on markers or slightly more likely to lose caps, only because there are similar dual tipped markers out there that do the same essentially the same thing but are cheaper to purchase (unless Tombow markers are on sale). They will likely have less ink, and less color choices, and not quite as good a pen tip, but they are still perfectly good as markers.

Useful in Many Ways
With many different types of brush pens available, it can be difficult to figure out which ones to buy when thinking of their quality and value. The ‘Tombow Dual Brush Pens’ can be used in a variety of ways and are durable making them are worth buying.Due to the recent popularity of calligraphy, many customers buy these pens. The flexible tip on the brush side of the pens is good for practicing both basic calligraphy and for watercolor-like coloring. These pens are also easy to be mixed and make new colors. The other side of these pens is much thinner and can be used for regular writing. You can also use the thinner side with your calligraphy by bordering letters and make your calligraphy more unique proving that these pens have a variety of uses.In addition to the versatility of the pens, the Tombow Pens are very durable. I have had these pens for seven months and use them quite often. Many other pens and markers that I have used dry out in this amount of time, and don’t have as much vibrancy as when I first started using them. However, these markers still retain a lot of their color even after their frequent usage. My experience isn’t uncommon as many of my friends have owned these markers for a year and still use them weekly due to their durability.Even with many positive attributes, one point often complained about is people finding it difficult to quickly learn calligraphy with these pens. The truth is that it takes a lot of time to master the art. It is necessary to practice all the letters and get used to writing in this new way before blaming everything on the pens. It is recommended for beginners to use tutorials to learn more about the pens, and not expect to be perfect on your first try.I recommend these pens for people who are looking for thin and precise markers as well as thicker brush pens. This pack of ten pens produces beautiful and effective results due to them having many different uses and them lasting a very long time.

Amazing Affordable Markers
This is my 2nd time purchasing these markers because they are excellent! The colors are long-lasting and have two very convenient tips for either coloring, writing, journaling, etc. I would definitely recommend these but just because they are affordable, although they look very nice and the colors are very vibrant, the ink may run out fast depending on how you use them. I use them mostly for coloring so it would make sense for it to run out fast but they still do last quite a while! (Here are some photos of projects where I used these markers)

My favorite calligraphy markers!
Tombow markers have been my favorite markers since I started learning calligraphy. They are made extremely well and they come in so many color! I know the pricepoint is a little steep but these markers last forever! The markers have not died out yet and I have had them for probably 6 years! Another thing that I like about these markers is that the tips of them are strong and have not bent or gotten yucky! You should def try these markers if you want to learn hand lettering! You won't be disappointed

Beautiful colors and great for calligraphy
I ordered the 10 count Bright Dual Brush Tombow Pens for calligraphy. These pens do an amazing job for hand lettering. The colors are vibrant and the brush tip glides very easily on paper. For calligraphy, it is easy to push down for the wider strokes and transitions effortlessly to the lighter strokes. If you are looking for a pen to do faux calligraphy with, these are a great option. It does come with a fine tip on the other side of each color.

These are great markers, but
I ordered the bright set. I expected to get 9 colors and a colorless blender. I got 10 colors. I’m a little disappointed but not mad.I’m pointing it out because I saw another reviewer who bought the bright set and expected 10 colors, and was disappointed they got the set with the colorless blender. So it is worth knowing that apparently you could possibly get either set.Aside from the ordering issue, the product is fantastic. I have zero complaints about these markers.
