OK I’ve been self tanning for about 6 years now. I’m a strawberry blonde , freckled and I have a Nordic background A.k.a. I have some really pale skin and I embrace it and appreciate it… but sometimes A girl just wants to be tan! I’ve tried so many (oh yes many trips to The tanning salon before a vacation because I didn’t want to look like the underbelly of a flounder or worse yet Red as a lobster and trust me I have been there) this one is the absolute best for my skin the ultra dark is the most real yes I know I said I was pale but trust me if you follow the instructions and prep your skin and apply this correctly (it’s so easy) you’re never turning back! I never have sunbathed my exposure to the elements includes being on the boat or on vacation scuba diving or parasailing where you can’t wear a hazmat suit and your is skin will be exposed and this isn’t just vanity I will never go on an excursion or vacation anywhere without making sure that I have an application on and I’ll tell you why I have never been burnt ever with this product. It has saved so many an excursion on the boat hiking sailing windsurfing (salt water is a little rough on it) you have to do some maintenance but get over it… it won’t rub off or transfer if you follow the instructions it will last you a full week even with doing as many as activities as I said. So if you ask why I gave only four or five with the application is only because of my preference. They want you to be honest so I’m going to be honest I brought it on vacation as a touch up… I just found I could not control the spray it was going elsewhere like the floor other than on my body. I prefer the containers where you just squirt what you want onto the hand mitt and apply it that way! only reason for the four instead of five!

I am a male & use tanning spray to define my muscle tone. This is the best spray I have found. I use another brand but this one is not a thin. I spray directly onto major parts of my skin and I rub on smoothly until I acquire a smooth look. I am careful not to touch anything because all sprays will stain what you touch. I clean my hands carefully & all is removed if I soap my hands heavily not touching nothing but the controls to run warm water, I repeat the soap & add window cleaner which is safe & the two rinsing well & repeating will clean your hands completely. However the soap bar or window cleaner bottle has to be cleaned afterwards & the sink stains but hot water, soap & window cleaning will bring that completely clean. Anything I get this on I use window cleaner and a dry clean cloth and spray and rub off the stain, sometimes repeating twice.The scent is good but doesn’t smell loud. I am neutral & don’t care about a scent but this scent isn’t cheap and loud smelling.

Ive always loved this product. It's my favorite! However, I prefer the aerosol to the new spray pumps they're using. You can't turn this upside down and pump ( for spraying your back side) I guess if you had a helper...But I don't. So I hope they bring those back .

First of all, I was pleasantly surprised by the smell. It's delicious! I've tried out different tanners but none of them smelled that good. I applied the spray before going to bed and in the morning another pleasant surprised awaited me. My skin had a beautiful bronze color - exactly what I wanted. The picture was taken on the second day, right after I applied the tanner. I also ordered tan moisturizer which is supposed to prolong the effect. I hope it's just as good as the spray.I would recommend using the spray in the bathtub, which you can easily clean afterwards. Otherwise, it might be a bit messy.

I have really liked Sun Laboratories tanning lotion. This was the first time I ordered the spray kind. The three bottles were all wrapped together in the bubble wrap, but one of them was loose and stained the other two bottles as well as the directions. The bottle was like 75% full and the seal was broken. So that’s a bummer. It also said it was going to come with a mitt, but I didn’t receive one.I still really like the tanning effect that this company produces, but the lack of care that was put into this package was disappointing.
