Bought this to hang in front of a window for audo reasons (as I'm sure many will come here for because for some reason trash like this comes up with a search for an acoustic blanket) When opening it I was first a little put off by how thin the blanket it considering it's intended to be padded and sturdy. I did expect the smell to be off but not the hard warning on the packaging, warning me of both cancer, and harm to my genitals. After pulling this thing free from it's packaging I unfolded it only to see multiple patches where light could shine through the padding because it was so thin.I thought to myself in that moment "This $4!T cost me 40$"This product is trash for audio, and would likely be just as bad if not worse for moving it. It's not padded all the way through, the threading looks like it's about to fall apart from new. and it wants to murder my gentiles.I could go to Value Village, and grab any other blanket that would serve a better job for under 5$It's obvious the price of these blankets went up based on a video by Deity Microphones - These are not the blankets they were referring too. Nor are they a decent replacement.

This blanket is great, I use it for sound deadening when filmmaking, and it works really well to cut down on unwanted echo

I had bought this moving blanket to help move my furniture, however I found that instead the blanket moved me. It was dense, heavy and the best sound dampening blanket I could have ever asked for.I opted to drag my washing machine over bricks instead of ruining this fantastic piece of engineering.

Used as an acoustic sheet instead of moving things, definitely doesn't block out enough sounds. But considering where its placed it's doing a good job.Blocks out low pitch, and high pitch sounds a decent amount.If you're looking for acoustic blankets this would be fine on a budget, but an upgrade wouldn't hurt eitherAlso it looks pretty decent.Nice material
