I had a Cole Haan wallet in this style for over 10 years but it finally ripped apart and they are no longer made. I got this Alpine Swiss because it was very similar in design and had two more interior card holders than my old wallet. The spring metal clip on this wallet was upside down from my other wallet. I thought I'd get used to it but I finally gently pulled the spring metal clip out (used needle nosed pliers) and reversed it. Now my money goes in the clip from the top like the old wallet. I use every card holder this wallet has and they did fit really tight. I cut about 1/16 of an inch off the width of each card and they fit so much better. I believe my old wallet would still be functional had I cut the cards because that's what caused it too finally rip apart - too much stress from the width of the cards. Cutting has not affected the cards functions. I like this style of wallet because it is very slim and easily fits in a front or back pocket. It measures about 4 1/4 x 3. It's about 3/4 of an inch thick with ten bills in it and a card in every holder (9 including the front flap). Sometimes the part of the spring clip the sticks out of the wallet catches on the cloth of my pocket. I think I could file the rough edge down a bit but it hasn't been much of an issue. Time will tell if the stitching holds up but so far it looks to be a quality wallet. I have not tested the RFID so no comment on that. I'd say that my only negative at this time is that the small Alpine Swiss emblem protrudes off one corner of the wallet about an 1/8 inch. I do like this wallet.

Looks great and is made of leather so it should last.. Bought it for a friend.
