Banana Boat Aloe Vera Sun Burn Relief Sun Care After Sun Lotion - 16 Ounce

I have been using this product every single day for 25+ years. The best moisturizer to use especially in the summer to keep your tan longer. About 1-1.5 years ago, Banana Boat changed the texture of this product and it went from a nice medium thickness to an absolutely disgusting watery-based formula. When you used the pump, the lotion would squirt out everyone except on your hands. It was so watery that it would run down in between your fingers, legs, and arms. It was a nightmare. I looked in every store, and online, but could not find the original formula anywhere. I took a chance and ordered from this vendor and was very happy to find that this bottle is the original thickness and not the watered-down version. The issue that I have is this vendor is charging too much money. You can typically get this in Walmart for $4.95 per bottle. I just recently found some ( original formula) bottles in my local Dollar Store for $6.99. Banana Boat states they changed back to the original thickness so I hope i will see more of this product in local stores.

I have purchased this product from other vendors and also purchase generic aloe lotions from stores. Often I get watered down very thin lotions. I'm very pleased that this purchse was the real deal and it is thick. I use this regularly not just for sunburns but for dry hands. It is not greesy and soaks into nicely. This is a great product.

Have used this product for years. Good moisturizer without stickiness. Lasts most of the day. Protects the skin from the sun and hydrated and moisturizes after the sun.My skin drinks it right in.

I received this item and it is watered down. I’m out of the country until December 19th but will be requesting to return it upon arriving home.

Product seems to be the best moisturizer I've used. I have a saline pool and its drying on the skin.I usually have dry/sensitive skin anyway and have tried body butters, mane n tail, bath and body lotions (fragrance caused bad skin reactions after a few days), body shop butters, coconut oil.The coconut oil gotta say is totally awesome and made the dry bumps on my arms as long as I can remember, disappear and makes my feet soft.But I don't always want to smell of coconut due to insects in the yard or because a best friend can't stand it. Also many nut allergy sufferers could be affected by it on my skin.I digress...After pool and shower I apply the lotion and it really feels "still on" through at least 8 hours (today) afterward of hand-washing and hot outdoor party attendance. Even my feet are still soft.Definitely recommend and plan to use year round. In winter or as an extra deep penetrating healing/calming step do the coconut oil at night:) it even clears face redness and diaper rash fast like lightning.

I had used this product years and years ago. I'm a redhead so burn easily, and I remembered it helped calm down a sunburn and was a great body lotion. I was thrilled to find it's the same great product it was years ago!It's the "calming down the sunburn" that's important to me. I tanned last summer (please don't judge me :) I loved being a little tan ... but would occasionally get a little too much "sun". Banana boat to the rescue!!! As long as I don't get a really bad burn and I put this on before bed, by morning the red would be gone! My skin stays soft. No over-cooked, dry skin, tanned look. Just tan, moisturized skin.My only complaint is the plunger. I purchased several bottles and the plunger was bad on almost all of them. I can still shake the lotion out of the bottle into my hand, so no product loss. Just a little more inconvenient.This is a great after-sun product. I recommend it to anyone ... but if you have fair skin and burn easily, this can be a life saver.

I love this product, have used for years, but this seller just threw it in a box no package materials or a bag. Leaking out half of the product, I didn't report because I desperately needed the product will never buy from seller again
