I must say the if you are “on the fence” about buying or not buying, you should jump on this “fence”.My dachshund is an extremely picky eater, and has NEVER enjoyed dry food of any kind, of any brand.I was reluctant to try ANOTHER dry food brand, simply because I thought I’d never find just the right dry food for Bree. I opened the huge bag and put just a very small amount of this food, thinking she would sniff it and walk off.OMG, as soon as she smelt it, she ate what I’d put in her bowl and even looked up a me suggesting: “Uh, May I have some more? Duh.”She ate every crumb in the bowl and licked it clean!I’m sold....I have finally found the perfect dog food!If in doubt, DO check it out!” 👍

We have two Old English Sheepdog’s, one about a year old and the other about three.Our picky eater seems to like this one. Typically, he will turn his nose at food after a week or so... with this he gobbles it up.For a while I thought the redmeat was making them a little crazy and causing some scuffles between them. It could be a factor. They seem to have a lot of energy and this is a high calorie food. Overall Happy so far. The quality seems to be pretty consistent from Amazon.

I have an 80lb pitbull/ lab mix, he is the pickiest eater ever! The blue wilderness food is the only food he doesn't despise. I rotate between all the flavors for large breed and he's always happy. This company has been around for awhile and I feel that I can trust in their product. Great food for a good price. Give it a try!

Petsmart is just super expensive with Blue Buffalo Wilderness. I'm glad I realized I can order my dog food on Amazon for a more affordable price for a quality product.I give this 4 stars instead of 5 because I thought it had some dehydrated red meat pieces, as it states on the bag "with red meat". I guess this meant that the kibble was made with red meat...just thought it was confusing because in the past I bought my dog this, which has red meat in it: Natural Ultramix Grain Free Red Meat Recipe with Raw Bites, 12 lbMy dog is a picky eater, and it seems like she neither likes or dislikes this kibble. She'll eat when she's hungry. If it's something she absolutely hates, she'll never touch it even if she's starving, but luckily she okay to this kibble.

I rescued my dog, Cooper in 2010. I was buying a much cheaper brand of dog food and couldn't understand why he was so itchy! I was washing him with a super moist shampoo/conditioner mixed with 3 tablespoons of olive oil. I am a dermatology nurse and one of the doctors agreed to test a skin scrape sample of Cooper after I felt like I was out of ideas.The skin sample showed that it was a food allergy from grain. His dog food was loaded with wheat and grain! I switched him to Blue and within the week, his itching stopped completely!Fast forward 3 years. My husband and I were going on vacation for a week and left our dogs with my mother-in-law. Even though we brought more than enough Blue food for a small rescue, she decided that she was going to use a dog food that my sister-in-law recommended so that my husband and I, "stop wasting money on expensive dog food." I won't name names, but the first ingredient on the package was grain! I was so upset to see that my dogs were so itchy and miserable all because she wanted to prove a point. After 3 days of my dogs being back on Blue, they were back to their normal non-itchy-selves.My only recommendation would be to switch up the flavors if your dog can tolerate it. I was buying nothing but the chicken flavor for awhile and the dogs seemed to be kind of bored with it. I rotate flavors now and they are doing great with it. No itchy skin, soft coat, healthy teeth!I couldn't ask for a better product to give my furbabies.

Great food and my dog loved it.... However I was hoping he would eat less food since it was completely grain free and this is so expensive... Unfortunately this was not the case, although he did eat a little less than the good Chicken and Rice dog food I was already feeding him... It wasn't enough for me to be able to afford this food.... He is a very large dog ( Mastweiler) and I can't afford to buy over two bags of this food a month.... My advice is, if you can afford it, get it... Great product..

This meal has proven to be very good for my dog. His coat is very shiny and he is clearly healthy.I can tell that it aids his digestion, I see him go..Note that I mix this with Rachel Ray dog food. Seems to work well for me.

Better than most other brands.
