This is an amazing alternative to a satin pillow case!! Just love it

I got this to protect my hair at night, so I wouldn't have split ends and damage. However, because it's not actually satin or silk, it's rough and will catch on the hair. I showed it to my hair dresser who came unglued that it was so rough. Said this was what had caused all the breakage he was now having to trim off. I absolutely wouldn't recommend this product. Get the real thing.

While this scarf isn’t great for sleeping in (it doesn’t come with hair clips to secure it, so unless you sleep like the dead, this satiny scarf will slip right off with a tiny movement), it is of a GREAT rectangular size and easily covers a standard sized pillow - just secure it with safety pins to your pillow and lay your head on it that way. Washes and dries up beautifully with my sheets! It also does not come with instructions for different ways to tie it in your hair…so if you love how it looks on the model, unless you already know how to do this, you’re out of luck! The color is beautiful and pretty accurate to the colors represented - not baby pink or peach, but somewhere in between. It’s lovely. It is not true silk, but is of a nice satiny material and its edges are finished. I notice a huge difference in my hairs texture since using it the past several weeks. I also use the Kitsch small black scruchies (I have fine hair to about my armpits and they work good in my hair) and I recommend those too.

It did the job great the first night, I could immediately tell a difference. But it's hard to get it on (and no instructions for tying) and even as thin as my hair is, it's too long to really fit. I think for shorter hair it might work, IF you can get it to stay on through the night which has only worked about half the time for me.

It is soft and so cute. It did fit around my curls and I have thick hair, but it did not stay on at night. I really wanted to like it but it just didn’t work
