I just ordered this clipper and have to say I am really amazed at how well it works! It handles the bad toenails that I seem to be getting as I get older that were difficult to clip. On occasion I have gone to a podiatrist to get my feet taken care of and that included nail trimming but it is so expensive that I've been attempting to care for my nails and calluses on my own if I can, at least some of the time. Buying this clipper has certainly helped me with this. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who has problem nails, the type you get as you hit middle age especially. My feet look so much better since I used this over the weekend and I am truly impressed at how quickly and easily I was able to trim my nails! I'm sure as I get older and my nails probably worsen, that I will continue to be using this clipper. It seems well made and comes in a very nice little box to store it if you like.

These toenail clippers are a dream to use. I clip my elderly Mom's toenails since she cannot and I also clip my 96 year old grandmother's toenails with these. If you've ever had to work with the toenails of elderly individuals, you know they can be thick and difficult to smooth down and manage. Not so with these clippers. The blades are sharp and they open wider than regular toenail clippers which allows one to be able to cut those thick nails. Their large size and design make them easy to hold and manipulate. So glad I found these. Perfection.

I would purchase this item for fingernails alone - easily handled, much better than normal clippers! They are sharp and cut well. I'm really glad I purchased them!

After trying this out on 3 separate occasions now, I can say that I am very satisfied with my purchase. This item is big, but as the name states, it is an extra large size. My fingernails and toenails are thick and strong, and in the past, have broken lower end nail clippers, and even forced some of the big name branded clippers to come apart (I am looking at you Revlon). This thing is awesome. Cuts through my claws flawlessly, and fit comfortably in my hand rated as an L/XL according to online searches. This was a purchase that I am happy to have made. I gave it a try. Don't be deterred by the price. You will definitely get your money's worth.

First of all, it's a very well made device that will probably work fantastic for people without my flexibility issues. I have difficulty with my shoulders that makes reaching down there a problem for me, and I also wish that the piece you use to squeeze was a little longer and easier to hang on to because it's awkward for me. A few years ago I think I would have raved unconditionally about this clipper because the problems I have now weren't there then, and if you have no limitations I suspect this will work great for you..

This is a quality product, it's well made and works great. It may not seem like a big deal, but if u have ever tried what passes as large toenail clippers u would understand. The person I bought them for is ecstatic. He bought 5 or 6 pairs of nail clippers promising large openings but none of them opened wide enough to let him cut his toenails. It rapidly becomes a problem if u can't cut them either because they didn't open wide enough to use or because they weren't sharp enough and they are new. The fact that the case can be use to give more stability while using is a bonus. Some people have difficulty using regular toenail clippers but this pair gives solution for those people. Thank you for making a great persons life easier.

These toenail clippers are fantastic! I've struggled for years clipping my thick toenails with standard clippers, and not only do these clippers open much wider than standard ones, they went through my hard, thick toenails as if they were butter. Unlike other clippers that are limited to just a thumb and a couple fingers for squeezing, these clippers make use of the entire hand, so the cutting force can be much greater and more comfortable to apply. I would highly recommend these clippers to anyone with thick toenails!

The product is exactly what it is: LARGE. It's handle is long and it is really optimal for a second person's usage in cutting another person's nails. It is somewhat clumsy to be used by one's self, but it can be managed. The blades are very sharp and the opening adequate for advanced onychomycosis deformity. The product is very nicely made.It's hard to rate this unit in stars. For what it is really intended, I would say 5 stars, while for most users, only 3 stars, and would recommend buying a standard sized toenail clipper unless nails are hugely thickened and deformed. Hence a compromise 3 stars.
