281Z Liners are versatile and comfortable fleece liner socks that will ideally work in every situation. From the everyday use as slipper socks, or simple boot liners, winter sports to harsh conditions of hiking trail or modern battlefield. They help keep feet dry and warm as during intense activities as during long-term static. In conjunction with performance hiking, sport or military footwear and hiking socks 281Z Liners create a complex that not only will keep the foot warm, but create ideal temperature balance, so your feet would be warm, comfortable and dry even in most demanding conditions. Anatomical design of the 281 fleece liners makes them sit firmly on the foot, without slipping down and clogging under the footwear, and does not obstruct the natural movement of the foot. Flat seams do not create any pressure and discomfort under any footwear. Liners are also very lightweight and compact, so they can be easliy carried in a bag or backpack, until you'll need to use them. 281Z Liners are made from Polartec Classic 200 fleece - the best available material from renowed manufacturer. It has outstanding warming, breathability and other performance properties, very lightweight, but also very durable. It's soft to the skin and does not cause allergic reactions. 281Z liners have been extensively d, and have proven their durability in combat conditions. Designed by 281Z Development Group.

Warm but non-stretchy
I bought these for use a night in bed. I specifically chose them because they are not stretchy, so don't constrict my legs at all overnight. They are a thick fleece material and nice and warm.If you are buying them to wear in shoes/boots outdoors you may have fitting issues because they run large and do not 'shrink to fit' on your foot because they are not stretchy at all. Unless they happen to fit your foot just right, there may be extra material at the toe end which might be a source of discomfort depending how tightly the footwear fits. In looser winter boots it wouldn't matter as much. I take a size 11 shoe, and these socks were large on me, like a size 12+.

Happy customer!
My son hunts with my husband. The biggest issue is always his feet getting cold. He’s only 12, and growing like a weed- so $175 boots are just not an option right now. I got him these for Christmas. He is out today. It is 12 degrees and snowing. He called when they came out of the woods for a break. He said his feet were perfect. Not the slightest bit cold. What an awesome alternative to spending a fortune on boots he’d get one season out of!!

I'm going to order 2-3 more pairs.
I ordered these bc my feet get cold at work in the winter. I layer high quality, moisture-wicking running socks under the fleece liners. The result: my feet stay warm and dry. If I wear cotton socks as a base layer, my feet feel wet and sort of swampy. Yuck. So I recommend thin, moisture-wicking sock as z base layer then the liners on top.

Keep my feet and ankles warm without making my feet sweat
I bought the XL for size 12 feet, and they fit perfectly. I've been having issues where my feet and ankles have been getting cold this winter, due to an inefficient window a few feet from where I sit in my home office, in an apartment. I was worried being polyester that these might just make my feet sweat, and make the problem worse, like artificial-fabric socks do. I was pleasantly surprised that these do not make my feet sweat, and they do a great job of keeping my feet and ankles warm! Fit well with my slippers and shoes, too.

square toe area bunches up in the boot
this was a disappointment - when I put these on the oversized square toe design caused a large uncomfortable bunch in my boot - making them unusable. I checked several medical photographs of feet and couldn't find any with all the toes even and square across the front. I wonder what they used as a template when designing these?
