Overall favorite, happily recommend!
I upgraded to a new full size mattress which included the daunting task of finding new bedding 😳... So many varieties, so many brands, so many options SMH!*This Utopia duvet set is by far my favorite. I've learned through a few failed purchases that I am picky and want great looking, softness/comfort with ease of washing and drying as well. I live with a long haired cat, and in a studio apartment; material that looks nice and doesn't collect cat hair plays a huge part in the decision-making as well as comfort. This duvet set checked all boxes! I love the look and it is soft and durable- *it does come with 2 matching shams. I'm only using one w/included pic It washed and dried perfectly in cold water- drying on low with wool dryer balls. After washing, drying, folding and storing for a week i was very, happily surprised on how little wrinkles there were! PS absolutely no ironing here lol! *Great overall looks, comfort and quality; durable seams, zipper and strength of the inside ties; for attaching to the duvet insert. The size fits perfect, I adore the color. It was reasonably priced and the material doesn't 'collect' cat hair! I highly recommend! When I need another or different color this will be my 1st choice without hesitation. I hope this helps Good luck! :)

Quality at an affordable price!
Excellent overall. Smooth and soft. Easy to use. Love the full zipper. The pillow cases were a perfect surprise. Also happy with the bright white as so many other shades of white don't match. So impressed with the quality at such a reasonable price.

Soft, comfortable, blank slate- in slate! *Remove sticker before washing!
Update: It has now been six months. This duvet cover continues to hold up well. No pilling. It is now spring so the cat sheds just a bit; the hairs don't tend to stick to this more to anything else, so that's a bonus. I quick swipe with a lint roller takes care of it just fine. We did have to re-sew the a couple of the ties that hold the comforter in place, as I thought we might. That wasn't a big deal, as long as you have some needle and thread it takes less than 5 minutes to secure those better. Altogether, it has been a good purchase.Original review: This duvet cover is soft to the touch, and it creates a soft, comfortable look. If you want crisp- look elsewhere. There are ties inside each corner, as there should be, to tie to the loops in your insert. If there is any part of this duvet cover that we might have to tweak, it is those ties. They are hidden, yes, they just might not hold. Time will tell. It's very easy to replace those with just a few stitches, if necessary. For the price, I am not concerned! The zipper on this grey cover is white. It is recessed under fabric, plus the edge drapes down over the bed, so it is not visible. It is smooth, and we did not need to trim any threads. I like the way it is a plain backdrop for whatever throw pillows I want to use, so I can easily change the look whenever I want. I also like duvet covers to be machine washable. This one is replacing a navy one that attracted too much lint so it never looked clean. This one does not seem to do that at all. Even pet hair has not been clinging to it, and the cat (who has the run of the entire house) has chosen this soft duvet as her favorite spot. She doesn't have an undercoat, so those fine hairs may be different; I wouldn't know about that. There are other reviewers who posted photos in better lighting, after making this look it's best. I'm showing it how we experience it before and after work, by lamp-light, without any fussing. You could make it look better, and would probably have to put effort in to make it look worse if that's a goal, lol! For the price, this is an amazing investment to keep the insert- the part that actually keeps you warm, from wearing out too quickly as you can just wash this cover most frequently. It keeps the insert clean. If you are new to using duvet covers, then bear in mind that they never include the insert and that is part of the beauty of it- you choose the kind of insert you want, as long as it has loops to be tied in, or you add your own. Plan on using queen sized pillows as inserts for the shams; the standard size leave the shams far too floppy, and intolerably so, even for someone like me who isn't fussy.A final note- before you wash and use this, be sure to search inside the duvet cover for the large inspection sticker and remove it. You do NOT want that to go through the wash. OK, that will do! I hope that this helps. Do let me know, and happy shopping!

Great for layering
The media could not be loaded. This is a great set if you're looking for a simple cover that's still good quality. I ordered the queen in white. It fit my insert well and comes with 3 ties on each end. So your insert can be secured in the middle of each end. If your duvet comes with the additional loops. Mine unfortunately did not. But I was still able to position it correctly without too much of a fuss. It features a zipper that is located on the side of the cover so not on the end. Mine didn't have any weird smells but I did go ahead and wash it before use. I washed in in cold water and standard drying cycle. It didn't have any shrinkage or pilling of the fabric. This is a soft duvet cover which is surprising considering how affordable it is. It is also a breathable material. I slept with it overnight and didn't have any issues getting a goodnights rest. I even sleep with an additional blanket and it kept me comfortably warm but not hot. The material is not scratchy or weird feeling on your skin. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because of the thickness. It's a little on the thin side so its see through. Something to keep in mind if you have a colored insert. Also if you have patterned pillows like I do. You can double up your pillow cases to conceal them and I'm sure it would work just fine. But that's the only downside. It's still a great set for the money and can give you that aesthetic look. This is perfect for layering your bedding. Whether you're doing it for warmth or for the design. I will be pairing mine with a quilt on top and a throw blanket. I'd recommend!

favorite duvet cover!
i was going to return this because the blanket i ordered ended up being smaller than i intended to buy. had the return request done and everything, but decided to open it up and just see what it looked like on my queen duvet and to try on my daughters full size bed. it is fantastic. i love this cover. i have a few others and this is by far superior. the fabric is nice, comfortable, solid black. the zipper! it goes all the way down one side and has TWO zipper pulls to meet in the middle or wherever you choose. it has ties on all corners AND sides! this was by far the simplest cover to put a duvet in. it's amazing. the quality is amazing and superior to others that cost more. i could not be any happier with this cover. i actually want a few more now.
