The first power cord I received did not work. I returned to Amazon and am amazed at the return process. Re-ordered same cord and received it about 2-days later. This one works flawlessly. I've used electronic devices for decades and know components will fail. It's a testament to Amazon how well-managed the returns/crediting process is. BTW, I saved over $40 from what LG wanted for this laptop's power cord. Great price and great cord, with exceptionally long cord. One-hundred percent satisfaction now.

works better than OEM. slightly longer, which is comes in handy, when I am doing work while it charges. Heavy duty cable doesn't feel like it'll give out anytime soon. I've owned it for over a year and still going strong. OEM lasted 1.5 years before it stopped charging, after months of getting it at the "perfect angle"

I purchased this 4 months ago. It was a bit loose fitting - which was ok.... better that it come out easy rather than break as the factory one did. But now, It no longer powers my computer unless i hold it very very tightly to my computer. Tried taping, but its not tight enough. Seems like 4 months is not a very long life but might be the kind of poor quality to expect. 😢

Purchased for the LG Gram 13 (silver)Pros: Affordable replacement, works as expected, lonnnnng and sturdy-looking cord.Cons: This one is a grounded 3-prong (OEM was 2-prong) and my apartment is mostly 2-prong outlets. Also the AC-side of the power cord is very thick, long cable that adds a lot of bulk compared to OEM.

This was purchased for a second power supply so I didn’t have to drag power cord between floors at home. Good item good price works well.

It works! Bought as an extra for my LG gram so I didn’t have to move chargers between home and work. It works great without issues.

Update: Cheap crappy parts. Ground plug snapped off in a coffeshop when someone hit it the wrong way. The unit died not long after that. I've had it less than a year. I'd buy two if you have no other choice since they're not reliable.Since LG products are terrible and my charger died after only a year, I had to buy a replacement one. I was hesitant about buying third party but I saw that PWR had a bunch of different ones and a pretty good reputation. Chargers are relatively simple electronics so I figured I'd give it a shot. It has been a month and I'm pleasantly surprised. A few things:1) As other people have said, you don't realize what an advantage the extra length is until you're used to it. I have better accessibility to plugs at my coffee shop or more mobility around the apartment if I'm charging. It's really noticeable.2) The charging box only gets lukewarm to the touch. It hasn't gotten excessively hot in my experience. They have to list warnings about it but realistically I leave mine laying on carpet for hours and no problems.3) There may be a small uptick in charging speed but I hadn't really noticed much difference. I doubt that's why people are buying these though.Overall, solid product that's well worth the price. The extra length is awesome and LG doesn't really sell replacement parts so this is a good pick.

I've had this charger for 8+ months and works like a charm. No problems with male plug pulling out of laptop. Love the 12' length - virtually never been too short for me. Have already bought a 2nd and thinking about a 3rd so I don't have to travel with it all the time.
