This sweatshirt is well-made and designed. Its distinctive features are in a nautical style. The zipper placket is a contrasting white with a heavy metal zipper slider attached to a small red, white and navy tag. Drawstring hoodie cords on either side look like small white ropes. The fabric is 60% cotton and 40% polyester and feels like terry cloth on the inside. Of note: the material is on the thinner side perfect for fall or spring but not warm enough for outerwear in cold winter months. Both the hem and the cuffs are ribbed.(I ordered an X-Small but usually wear a Small and find the hoodie fits a little snug. My fault. I’ll wear mine with thin t-shirts underneath.) I would recommend ordering your regular size. Care instructions state to machine wash in warm water and tumble dry on medium heat. This is a good choice for those brisk, casual days when you need a little something extra to keep you warm, but don’t want to wear a jacket.

I have another one of this same hoodie and it seems of much better quality. I don't know why this one is limp, thin, and hangs loose. I sent it back.
