This product is awesome!! Wish I could find some wheels for outdoors for it. Or replacement wheels incase i take the individual out for a walk or with time the wheels get wasted. Thats the only thing i wish. The seat is cushioned, and the handles, everything is sturdy.

The reclining geri chair worked well for sitting up, the tray is certainly convenient. However, reclining the chair is difficult. Because reclining has to be done from the back of the chair, it can sometimes be challenging to get to the back of the chair. If a person is in the chair and it is totally reclined, getting that person back to sitting up it really hard.

My son has been in bed for over a year after a Severe TBI. I've wanted to buy a Geri chair for a while now but reading the reviews here on Amazon, I decided against paying out of pocket for one. Well, I was sick of seeing him lie in bed so I ordered this one. I couldn't be happier. And he seems super stoked and perfectly content in his chair. It was packaged nicely, had an instruction booklet, the packing wasn't bent or busted up, nicely secured in the packing, the build of the chair is nice and sturdy and the caster wheels make moving it around a breeze. And the recline isn't even difficult to manuever from outside the chair like I read In one review.Thanks Lumex and Amazon.Satisfied customer who would buy again.

Was not very comfortable. Assembly was easy on some parts but to get the legs to lift was very difficult. Chair does not operate smoothly. I bought it for my grandmother and it is near impossible to get her legs raised without shaking and moving a lot! The wheels are not 360 turn!!! The back wheels are front wheels are not. If your buying to maneuver a disable elder around the house in comfort DO NOT BUY!!!! You can not move the chair around easily so this is a complete waste of money! And when I say you can’t move the chair I actually mean you can not move the chair!!!!!! I bought this and did not use once for the disabled grandmother who I take care of full time. I am just trying to get her out of bed well this did not work! DO NOT BUY!!!!!

Sturdy for adult son with spastic cp. Good relief from spending all day in a wheelchair. Our first one of these chairs lasted more than 10 years, the vinyl cracked from age and daily use. The chair can be difficult to recline or upright, you will need a little muscle. All in all a good chair.

Great chair, my patient spends 3hr stays in the chair with zero problems. Works flawlessly with our patient transfer lift. The height of the legs allows for easy access. Mobility is a touch challenging with only the rear wheels having turning capability. Would be nice to have four wheel maneuverability. Took it on a hurricane evacuation so the patient would be comfortable. Fit inside our mobility van just fine. I would purchase this product again.

The chair is great and has been. A Lifesaver in getting my bedbound husband up. The only negative is the coasters do not move easily.

Table top piece came broken. Can't get a replacement for table unless I send the whole entire chair back. Really!!! Also the price dropped soon after I purchased it for almost a $200 difference. This chair is for a young lady with terminal cancer who specifically picked this chair. It would be nice to get the difference for what the chair costs now to make up for the broken part.
