Great stone
Cuts fast and doesn't foul up. It's hard wearing and good for creating the ride line on beauty scissors after it is flat.I'm using it for scissors which has different requirements than knives. But, I did sharpen one knife on it and enjoyed it. I didn't need to work as hard to get a good scratch pattern like I would with the cheap water stones I bought years back. I think for a lot of people this stone would be worth it. It's easy to work with and cuts fast for how fine it is. It will take less passes to create the edge and so a person who isn't able to hold a consistent angle for a long time will have better results.

Great stones!
I bought the Hibiki stones for flattening the uraoshi of the knife. Slow wearing but nice finish. I will use them for my tools, too.
