Q: I want to use this to polish out some *very* light scratches on my smartphone screen. Think this will work?

Hello Sameer, I have not tried this product on a smart phone screen, the polish is a very fine abrasive, worked well on my glass shower doors that had slight etching from water etc.

Q: Can i use a lake country orange pad or does it need to be used with a glass polishing of?

I recommend to use the Glass cutting pads that CarPro makes to go along with this product. You will see better results when using a glass pad.

Q: what's the risk of swirls on car glass and car lights guys, if a variable speed sander or orbital sander is used ?

DO NOT USE on light covers. It has a UV coating as well as plastic which will scratch. Using VERY slow variable speed POLISHER not sander you can use it on glass with water. Do some YOU TUBE research on how to do lens and windshields.
