If this description were included on the website, I wouldn’t have bought the socks. But since the socks already arrived, I tried them on. The elastic was so tight that my ankle and part of the foot were compressed unbearably (the elastic went beyond the ankle). The whole sock felt tight, even though the toes had more space lengthwise.There was nothing comfy about the socks. They were very tight and uncomfortable.

Went through the first pair wearing them for years and decided to buy a new one because they are comfortable

It’s early September in the north and we have been having some temperatures in the 50’s as usual. These came out of the package and have been worn immediately by the husband. As opposed to being stuffed somewhere to find years later with a complaint to why they were completely unsuitable. He did remark that they are likely not to last long which I agree. To be honest this typical of product is a consumable anyway. Another order has been placed for a couple more since they are currently deeply discounted. I ordered his usual shoe size and he is wearing over socks comfortably. Although, I noted the current socks being worn with these are not the thick hiking type wool sock but a wool casual sock if that helps. Additionally, I ordered a pair for myself in the smallest size. I am not a fan of the style but a long time falke junkie. Their products generally are well made and if not abused (like using socks as slippers) last a long time.
