Glass Casserole Dish With Lid, Mini-1 QT (5.7in x 7in) Glass Baking Dishes for Oven, Single Serving Glass Oven Bakeware

Being just the two of us, an 8 x 8 casserole dish makes WAY too much of anything. We end up throwing most of it out because we eat on it until we are sick of it. So I was looking for a smaller dish that would suit the two of us when I ran across this glass casserole dish.I LOVE it! It is big enough that we both can have good portions, and even a second helping if we choose to. Yet it is not so large that we waste food by throwing it away. It is heavy enough to stand up to accidental bumps, but not so heavy that arthritic old hands cannot handle it. Which was another problem with the larger pans. With fairly severe arthritis, the strength in my hands and wrists has vanished to the point that I can no longer handle the weight of a large pan or dish. When this is full it probably weighs in around 3-4 pounds, but isn't so heavy that I feel unsafe holding it.The lid can be used not only as a cover for the dish, but you can even flip it over and use it by itself. It works well in the oven or microwave, you can put it straight in the fridge without having to dirty a storage container, and it is dishwasher safe too.I have found it so handy that I am thinking about getting another one after Christmas. (If someone doesn't take the hint and buy me one for Christmas that is lol.)

Pretty dish. Great size for a two person meal.

Arrived well packaged and unbroken the next day. Cook, serve, and store all in one container. Flat top can be stacked upon to save refrigerator space. Washes up well too.

This dish is perfect for use in a toaster oven. It easily holds 3-4 servings of meat, casserole, vegetables, or whatever. I use it constantly.

I wasn't sure about this, as it's a new brand for me, but it's turned out to be a great baking dish. Especially if you're cooking for just one person.The glass top is great. It's also high--which in my opinion is a lot better than a low lid. Maybe that's just me. But it would certainly be possible to use the lid as a very shallow baking dish as well. Or as a cover in the microwave. It's your basic, classic 8 x 8, with the added glass top that's oven-safe. No using foil (not eco-friendly, right?), and you can just slide the entire thing into the refrigerator if you've got leftovers.I'm tempted to pitch the old Pyrex one, which is showing its age and has no lid.I not only have been baking in this, but also tossing it into the dishwasher with no problem at all.I would buy another one if I needed it.

I love to make individual casseroles for friends and family. These are great for couple servings. Love having the lid. Would definitely recommend

all expectations met. if it does not hold up, I'll come back and do another review but so far I was impressed

BEWARE!!! The material description is WRONG! It says that it is made from Borosilicate glass which is glass like the old PYREX that can withstand high heat and can be put in oven under high heat and also be broiled. INSTEAD, it came in a box clearly stating that it is made from TEMPERED glass which is NOT the same. Tempered glass can not withstand high heat, broiling or extreme temperature changes. i.e. cold casserole dish going into an oven. This is why all the new pyrex has lower case letters in their name as they also switched to tempered glass. Only the old capital letter PYREX has the borosilicate. I am upset with the poor quality control here. I expected better than a cheap box with all foreign words on it but Tempered Glass in english!!!

This is a great size for baking up 3-4 chicken breasts. Only docked a star as I wish it had a handle on the lid to make it easier to lift off after taking out of the oven.

耐熱ガラス特有の「木っ端みじん、全ての破片が5mmサイズ」という完璧な粉砕状態で届きました1Lと2Lは結構あるんですが、1.5Lは珍しくすごい欲しかったのですが残念です耐熱キャセロールって材質は何でもいいんですが珍しいんですよね、とくに蓋つき・・・まぁしょうがないんですが、国内発送で探すしかないですねちなみに、破損交換（返金）は写真のみでＯＫでした（どこに送るのか？と思いましたが海外なので写真だけでいいんですね）
