Kagayaki Six Grain Rice 2.2 lbs

This stuff is incredibly flavorful. Contains grain as well as rice. I think that’s what makes it taste good so good. But check ingredients if you have food allergies.Cooks up perfectly on the “Brown Rice” setting in my small Zojirushi rice cooker. Because it’s pricey even at normal prices, mix it in with other rices.Ridiculously High Price here. And Amazon should challenge the vendor for price gouging. So check asian food purveyors online or in your local Asian food market. Namaste.

This rice is the bomb! Has alot of flavor and a plumpy mouth feel. This is also very filling and you can combine with just about anything. I like brown rice but tis boring compared to eating this, loads more jazz . It also cooks well in a rice cooker.

This is so tasty and a nice change from white rice. Not cheap so I think I will cook white rice next time and then add the two at the end. There is a lot of flavor in this rice especially if you cook in chicken stock. Will be ordering again.

For my breakfast I put 1 ounce of this and 1 ounce steel cut oats, a pinch of salt and 1 cup water in my rice cooker and set it to Porridge. I like how it all cooks up - the grains are done but al dente and chewy. I feel fuller if I have something to really chew for breakfast - as opposed to other smoother hot cereals.

I am looking for healthier versions of rice, this is much more interesting to eat than basic brown rice.It has a wonderful texture and a subtle but interesting taste.

Since it is kind of expensive, we mix it with the normal white rice. Adds taste and a lot of fiber to the meal

This rice is actually quite good, although chewy. But the price listed here is absurd. The same items costs less than half of the amount at my Asian grocer
