This statue, "Winged Victory Of Samothrace" also known as "Nike Of Samothrace" depicts the Greek goddess Nike, wings outstretched, with her clinging garments rippling in the wind. Originally discovered in 1863, minus her head and arms, the original sculpture is believed to be from about 150 B.C, and currently resides in the Louvre. The statue stands 10 1/2 inches tall, is 6 inches wide and 5 1/2 inches deep. Made of cold cast resin, it has the look of marble, and shows incredible detail.
