I was super excited when I found out that Dove had made an aluminum free deodorant so i bought a 3 pack and immediately threw away my old dove containing aluminum. I regret that decision without 1st trying the aluminum free deodorant. This stuff does not work at all. I stink after 10 minutes and its not like I am exercising or doing any physical activity other than just cleaning the house. I dont really have a problem with sweating anyway so not sure why I smell so much after using this product. I will go back to my normal deodorant with aluminum for now until someone comes out with something that actually works because I am so embarrassed to even have a smell at all. I am not used to that using my regular dove deoderant. Too bad this product was a great idea but people please do yourself a favor and dont buy this product because it absolutely does not work.

It's important to note that I BREAK OUT IN HORRIBLE HIVES if I apply deodorant that has any form of baking soda in it. This means that I've only been able to use Tom's Natural Deodorant. I don't know if you've used Tom's Natural Deodorant before, but it sort of sucks. It also sucks because I'm unable to use pretty much every from of deodorant out there...except for Tom's. But now...Dove has FINALLY come out with REAL deodorant and I can finally leave the evil that is Tom's and move on to better things!Now this is deodorant not an antiperspirant, which is usually made with aluminum so that it'll clog up your pores and keep you from sweating...which is bad for you. This will NOT keep you from sweating, its job is simply to keep you from SMELLING like you're sweating-which it does. And there's really not much more I can say about this item: everyone is different and what works for some might not work for others. Before you decide on purchasing Dove Deodorant please go through their ingredients and make sure there isn't anything in there that will irritate your skin.

I guess the zero aluminum is what is the problem it didn't really give me good protection like the regular deodorant did unfortunate

I'm very impressed by this product. IT'S PERFECT! It also SMELLS WONDERFUL!I'M HYPERSENSITIVE TO BAKING POWDER. I GET THE ITCHES FOR DAYS. THIS DOES CONTAIN BAKING POWDER BUT IT MUST BE MINUTE B/C I HAVE NOT HAD A SINGLE PROBLEM.Now ladies, let's be honest. Do you stink after a day wearing normal deodorant/anti-perspirant? If you do, then you will stink after wearing only a deodorant no matter the brand.I used BAN for almost 40-years & I always smelled fresh & clean. It's been hard trying to switch to a natural deodorant b/c they all suck - except for a few.Since 2018, here are some I've tried.Tom's of Maine - didn't work & made my skin blackMen's Deodorant's do work ALTHOUGH I don't understand why their deodorants aren't also anti-perspirants.The Dollar Store sells lots of good ones that work but the female ones do contain Baking Powder.I bought Cristal right before I bought the DOVE & it was okay but it does contain aluminium.So, here's my conclusion; deodorants can't be applied after a workout unless you have showered. They must be applied to a CLEAN armpit (what an attractive word). There's a PERSONAL CLEANSING (antimicrobial) SPRAY by SECURA. It's used by hospitals to remove microbes that cause smells & other things that can irritate the skin. I highly recommend this product if your body beats down ANY deodorant w/in a few hours. It's usually between $2-$12 for 8 oz & is sold on this site.I did not wash my pits for three-days. This deodorant did NOT FAIL to do as promised. It kept me smelling great!Athlete's get that Secura spray. You can use it anywhere at anytime. It does not require water OR rinsing off.
