SunbrellaSpectrum Sand Outdoor Canvas Fabric by The Yard

I used the material to make a cover for my outdoor grill. Summer months in California are super hot and we don't get much use out of the grill so we wanted to keep it clean by covering it. Custom covers are pricey. I'm not a proffesional but after a few videos on youtube and a few hours on the sewing machine I managed to create my cover. Held up very well this summer. Happy with the quality of the material. Washed it once in the washer and it didn't get destroyed. Highly recommend. We will see how it does with the bit of rain we get in the desert!December 2018 updateIt has rained a bit. Cover is holding up well. Material is keeping the water out of my grill.

I made cushion covers out of outdoor fabric I purchased from Joanns a few years back and they faded in the sun and got algae by the end of the summer. Being shut in by COVID-19, I decided to make the couch and deep seat Sunbrella cushions cost more than I wanted to spend, so I ordered this beautiful fabric and made these (the fabric for the 4 pillows was purchased at Joanns). The couch and cushions are in direct sunlight most of the day, and so far, no fading, no algae.

I use this Sunbrella awning fabric to cover my large outside air conditioning unit. It comes in great colors, and I was able to get a color to match the fence nearby.

I bought15 yards of this product thinking it was waterproof.It isn't even water resistant.The first time it rained, my boat deck got completely soaked.I dis some research and 50% of the Google reviews said it was waterproof and 5% said it was NOT waterproof.So, I bought waterproofing. (303) and it did not work, after completely soaking the material and letting it dry.Then, I bought Starbrite waterproofing and did the same soaking and drying...it did not work...What's going on with this material.

Covered some outside chairs with the material, seems to be good quality, to cold to use right now.
