Works great and just what we needed
We replaced a couple of older vases that were cracked and falling apart, and these vases worked perfectly, enabling us to leave flowers again. The vases are sturdy and installing them into the ground was very simple. Thinking of ordering a couple more so that we can add even more flowers.

Good quality
Much cheaper than what the cemetery would sell you. It's made it through one cold winter w/o cracking, so I expecte it to last a while.

Practical and Thoughtful
I like (1) that the inner cylinder was reversible to seal out the weather when not in use, (2) it was made of rust-proof, non-tarnishing and non-rusting, rugged plastic and (3) it came with a trowel to dig the hole for it.

Great idea for cemetaries
I was looking for something like this for the graves of my loved ones. I was also on a cemetery board for 25 years and dreaded hearing the workers complain of the vases and flowers left that they had to mow around or remove. I bought one of these to see how well it would work. I dug a hole, put in some sand and rock and put the container in and next flowers. I went back at the end of the season and removed the flowers, flipped the container and replaced the lid. The next year, I came back and it was just as I had left it. I bought more and will add them this next Memorial Day.

I used this for both my parent's and brother's graves. Works great! I would definitely recommend it.
Works great. Someone stole the vases from my family members graves. Who does that? Anyway, this vase was a great replacement.

This is a brilliant idea.Last year I witnessed a former assistant to one of the most famous everyday-life-changing people in the world walk up to the plaque in front of the tree planted in his memory. She had roses, but she only had a plastic water pitcher from the cafe to put them in. It just felt wrong, so I marked in my calendar to get her a vase the following year. I found this vase and it is nearly perfect! She was so touched when I gave it to her. It took several days to install because of bureaucracy and we missed his anniversary, but it’s ok because it’s there now. HOWEVER it’s got the company’s freaking website address covering the top of it. WTF?? Put your product endorsement inside the pitcher or something, I don’t think this dude’s memory should be presented with a freakin advertisement. I kinda want to be like “Who do you think you are??”. If you can sand it off or something I might like it better, but at this point it would be a major issue to work on it. It’s such a great idea, but I kinda want to punch whoever thought that was a good way to market a product for cemetery use.

Sturdy and Affordable
This is a great alternative to the expensive in-ground vase the memorial services are selling. The family to duct is strong and durable. Is not cheaply made!!! The funeral coordinator asked where I bought and they are providing the information to patrons who are looking for alternatives to what they are offering. GREAT PRODUCT

Forever vase grave-site restrictions
I ordered the Forever Vase as a permanent flower holder at my Father's grave site.--The order arrived ahead of the projected delivery date and was intact. The item included a free small plastic trowel.--Before using the product we are required to contact the Cemetary for any items that will become a part of the gravesite other than general disposable arrangements.--The cemetary told us if we were to use the Forever Vase,we would have to pay $50.00 for their maintenance staff to dig the hole where it would be placed. The Forever Vase is: 7 in. Diam.(Top)4.5 in. Diam.(Bottom) X 8 in. H.--This is considerably larger than the general plastic cones allowed without cemetary required approval.--We were also told they would not guarantee the plastic, even if flush to the ground when inserted, would not be damaged or destroyed during normal grass-mowing maintenance as well as weather variations would possibly dislodge or move the Forever Vase.--As we did not want to pay $50.00 for a possibly NOT Forever Vase,we did not place the piece at the gravesite.--I applied for a refund thru Amazon, which went directly to the company Forever Vase site.I received an approved refund request for the product,$19.99 but not the shipping.Along with the refund approval, they included a statement which the gist of was: This is the first return request the company had for their product and they have sold hundreds. They also said the product would not be damaged by lawn-mowing.--I responded to the company's message the same day, asking why they hadn't included postage cost in the refund.I also explained the fact I had not used the product and why.I told them of the $50.00 cemetary insertion charge and their not being able to guarantee no damage or loss of the Forever Vase.I explained the mowing maintenance is not a "lawn-mower" but a tractor pulled multiple blade grass cutter. And I noted,as they had said, this was the first return request they had received.I said there should not be a problem providing professional customer service on a per request basis.I also asked if they would like to contact our cemetary re: the restrictions we were told and the cost we were told.--I finished my response by telling them I would not use the requested return ticket and I would not be using their product,The Forever Vase.--I did not receive a response,3 weeks ago as of today.I have not used the product and consider it a $19.99 testament to the ideal of customer service and not a monetary motive.--With 40 plus years in the restaurant industry and many other "general public" jobs, I have heard, seen and marveled at the innumerable variations of "customer complaints" and strived above and beyond to address and satisfy dis-satisfied people. Whether your product is what you claim and believe it to be, 99 out of 100 might love it,but someone will not be happy, deal with it professionally.
