Founding Fathers: The Fight for Freedom and the Birth of American Liberty

Wonderfully told stories....beautiful pictures. A treasure of a book for sure. A BIG plus was a copy of the Constitution that came with the book. I did not know that when purchased. I have framed the Constitution and it hangs on my wall.

The book begins slowly at first because it has to set up so many parts but after a few pages, I just could not stop reading. The ending is where things slow down again because so many events need to be said before the rest is American history but for the MOST part this book is a treasure to hold close. Just make sure you have a big enough desk because the book is fairly huge. I was expecting textbook-type material but what I got out of it was a beautiful novelization of our country's humble and brave beginnings with gorgeous paintings, detailed maps, and concise biographies of the Founding Fathers and so much more...And yes, the DOI, U.S. Consitution and the Bill of Rights are included at the end of the book in all their historical glory.

I found this book to be very informative, beautifully made, and so interesting that I actually read it from cover to cover! I've never been a "history buff", but there was just so much information that I never learned in school that I had no trouble reading the whole book! Very well worth the price!

My 12 year old daughter loves it, she has already partitioned it and is reading it daily.

Excellent book with easy to read information. Not packed with so many details that you get overwhelmed. Enjoyed it and as described.
