I purchased these boots in November of 2021, but didn't start wearing them until May of 2022. It has been 6 months and I'm very happy with these boots. They look great, fit perfectly and after a week or two of breaking in, they are extremely comfortable.After watching the prices of the Bates and Danner boots going up, I decided to give Battle Ops a try. At almost half the price, I believe these are just as good. I usually get close to 2 years out of my boots, so I'll see what happens over the next 1.5 years. But so far, so good!The only thing I would modify on these boots is the tab that holds the zipper down. It is a little short, but does work. Another 1/2 inch in length would make it perfect.

The boots are actually pretty good. I use them all the time here in North Carolina, where the ground is almost always wet in the woods and natural areas. They are comfortable, lots of cushion around the ankle. The size fit well, but just to let you know I always use two pairs of socks and I usually wear a size 15 in Nike shoes, so if you wear one pair of socks, it may be better to size down. They are very waterproof which is great for when the ground is muddy or the grass is wet. I have noticed though that after a month of use the stitching has become a bit frayed, I don't see them lasting more than a year.

Battle Ops makes best boots on the market, this is my third pair. The 1st pair I bought was the Men’s 6 inch Soft Toe boots January 3rd, 2019. I loved the 1st pair so much I bought another pair two weeks later just to have a back up pair. The 1st pair of boots still fit great and are in awesome shape! I’m just super lazy and wanted a pair with a zipper. The 8 inch Battle Ops boots fit just as great as the 6 inch! Battle Ops is my go to for boots! Keep up the great work!
