Keeps a sharp edge
Definitely need a sharp blade that keeps a sharp edge for cutting small bits of masking tape. I've bought cheaper ones that were dull on arrival...not these.

so far so good
I don't think these blades will last longer than the generic brand but until it's proved opposite I should trust them. Will update this review in case something goes wrong down the road.

They cost more because they're better!
These are super sharp right out of the package. There is even a distinct quality difference between these blades and the regular X-Acto brand blades. Those are great quality but these are even better; these stay sharper longer and are even more durable. If you need to make fine, consistent cuts, then these are the blades you need. If you care about having quality tools then these are a must buy!

Was sent damaged product, but quickly replaced
The blade itself is very accurate and sharp, but I find it dulls out quickly, which is why I bought this blade refill pack in the first place. The ones they sent me at first were completely covered in rust, and the inside packaging was soaked in some kind of liquid or oil. I requested a replacement, and they quickly sent me a good one though.

Better than standard X-Acto # 11 blades !
Blades are razor sharp. Sharper than standard X-Acto #11 blades. Blade tips are VERY pointed and do not take much to break off. They are made to cut with light pressure on the tip and doing DELICATE cutting of soft materials. I would use the old style # 11 blades for rough work and leave these for finer work.
