So great! I got this about 2 months ago. My plants are doing really well. I go out to check on them every morning. It has inspired me to make a garden. I hope it inspires you too.

3 weeks old progress. The rosemary is a little leggy so have to rotate the jar every couple of days.Not sure if your supposed to thin these out or not? Will do additional research but have a feeling you should. Might end up potting in dirt at some point but will leave them in the jars for as long as possible.I used distilled water!! Some of the pics from other reviews show white stuff on the medium which doesn’t look like mold to me. White mold is often seen when the seeds are starting to sprout and looks like cobwebs. That white stuff is most likely chemicals in tap water.The item is a bit pricey but the system is reusable so over time it should be worth it. Just toss the used up herb and use coco coir and start some new seeds.

I followed all the instructions but the cilantro withered really fast and died. Not worth it

I'm hoping they grow. I did notice 1 of the Mason jars was chipped, see picture. Seeds seemed do be stuck to the label under Mason cover. I scrapped them into soil and set them up in window, anyway adding a clear cup to help keep them moist. Fingers crossed they grow.

Had a grow light too!
