I wish I would have read the reasons for the low reviews. The 'gown' is too narrow, thin, and short. You would need to be a very small man to wear it comfortably. It is above my son's ankles and looks tight. I knew it was the gown only and not accessories, but I did not know that the edges are unfinished. This is the specific thing that makes me wish I read the reviews. The sleeves, neckline, and bottom edge of the 'gown' are not finished. Just the cut nylon material. No hem. No stitching. Nothing to prevent raveling or rips. As a costume, being a little small could be ok, but this probably won't even survive one event. The price is higher than comparable items that are at least completed. I consider this below minimum standard- even for a costume.

This robe, described as natural, and pictured here and on the box as an off white, was really tan. Because of the misleading representation, it will not work for my purposes.The quality was pretty good for an inexpensive costume, and is much better quality than the replacement I had to get at Party City. It drapes nicely and has a little give. I mean, it's not good enough quality for daily wear clothes, and you will have to wear something under the lighter colors, but it's good for costume quality.As far as fit goes, it was exactly as expected for one size fits all adult items. If you're more petite, it will be a little big, if you're short, it will be a bit long, and if you're very large, it might be small. But if you're an average sized adult, it will fit pretty well with minor or no adjustments.Overall this is a good item, especially for the price, but the natural color isn't as pictured. I still recommend the item, though.

I used this as part of an angel costume and it fit perfectly. A word of caution: wear something underneath, such as white shorts and a white t-shirt, as the material tends to be a bit transparent, and anything else will show through.

I ordered the One Size fits all red gown. I am a woman size 16 and it fit me still, although I don't believe it would extend too much more without being tight. I am 5'10 also and it reached to the floor. The material is a very thin polyester and required the use of a slip and other undergarments as well as a good rubdown with a dryersheet for static. Overall, it worked fine for my purposes, however, my biggest complaint is the lack of any hems. I had to fold and hem the sleeves myself. The bottom was unhemmed. (I would've had to work with the bottom regardless as Jewish people wore fringe at the bottom of their garmets.) The neckline was also unhemmed, but not being handy with a needle, I just skipped that part and I'm not sure anyone noticed, but me. Also, please note - only the gown comes, accesories are ordered separate apparently. Overall, worked it worked ok in a pinch.

That it comes one size fits all even if you chose a size. I sent back because very large.
