Wanted to love it - not for shallow breasts
I have been breastfeeding for 7 years continuously as of this writing. It was (long past) time for some new bras. After carefully measuring (34DDD/E) and researching the huge variety of bras available, I decided to try this one based on reviews both here and from friends. I really wanted to love this bra like so many others but I had to return it.Loved:Material is soft and very comfortable. Band measurement was right on and band never cut into me (wore for about 1/2 a day). Clasps are strong yet easy to undo and reconnect one-handed. Removable pads for discretion and leaks also conceal nursing pads.Didnt love:Cups are not very supportive. This is great for many but not for shallow breasted women who need lots of lower support. Wearing this, my breasts drooped way over the band -causing it to fold in half- and looked awful. The pads helped cover nipples and did add some support when placed low but only gave me a tube-boob look. Without the pads, nursing pads show clearly.Photos are with and without pads. Photo without the pads also shows the folded band.

Superb bra, but Amazon's size chart is wrong
I used this bra 8 years ago with my first child, and absolutely loved it. It's very comfortable and functional. The cup clasps can easily be undone and redone with one hand, and there's a strap of elastic that connects the strap to the bottom of the cup so that you don't lose the strap while nursing. That elastic is not stretched at all, and there is no underwire in this bra, so it doesn't put extra pressure on your ducts, which means the bra isn't going to contribute to a risk of developing mastitis.I also love how the bra is stretchy and covers the range of 2 cup sizes. That great, since you can fluctuate a bit in the beginning.I also loved the removable cup forms. I could take them out at night for the ultimate comfort and breathability, and put them in during the day to keep my nipples or breast pads from showing through my shirt, and they could catch very small leaks too.I used this bra, and only this bra (because I couldn't afford more than the one) for 3 years and it held out the whole time! Now I'm almost due with my second, so I bought this bra again, to get me started. The only thing I didn't like about this bra was its high coverage. It fits like a tank top. That was great for going with t-shirts, but lower cut shirts won't work with this bra. I'm going to order the "Bliss" bra too, once I have dialed in my postpartum cup size, because it doesn't cover up as high.***There is, however, one thing I wanted to caution you on-*** and that is Amazon's size chart: it's all wrong.I'm a 36 D, and the Amazon chart told me to order a large, so I did. Well, when it arrived, I noticed the size chart on the back of the packaging and it said I should have gotten a medium.I pulled up the Amazon chart to compare and noticed that the two really don't match at all. So, I tried on the bra, and it was, indeed, a little too big. When I leaned back, the cups wrinkled.I don't know if my size will increase, decrease, or stay the same after this baby is born, but the only way this large was going to allow was for an increase. So, I sent it back and ordered a medium. I feel that the medium will have enough stretch to handle an increase, and is better sized for a decrease, or no change. For your reference, I have included a picture of the sizing chart from the package.

WARNING- different colors are actually different styles
I have been using Bravado nursing bras for a few years and really like them. However, Bravado makes a couple of different styles which differ in comfort, fit, level of support, and attractiveness (at least on my body). I love the one style, which has bigger pad inserts, bigger cups, and thicker straps than the other. The problem is that it is impossible to tell which style you're going to get when you order online. The pictures and descriptions are all the same. Not only that, but if you order different colors of the SAME product, they might be different styles. I ordered bras in gray, ivory, and pink ice. The gray and pink were the style I liked, but the ivory was the other type. I have returned that one. To all the people who wrote reviews and said that the bra was too small, maybe you got the "bad" style, which is definitely smaller than the other. I would give Bravado one more chance in another color, and maybe you'll end up with the better style this time.I uploaded some photos comparing the two bras. You can see that the ivory bra is smaller (when laid directly on top of the pink), has thinner flimsier support straps, has smaller pads, and has 3 hooks compared to the 4 hooks on the pink bra.

Way Too Small, Not Worth the $$$
I'm shocked this bra was on Lucie's List and had so many high ratings. First of all, I bought size S even though I measured XS because of previous reviews complaining about it running small. I opened it up and thought they had sent me the wrong size because it was tiny! I have to wear the band on the last loops and extend the straps as far as they will go in order for it to fit semi-comfortably. I don't want to go through the hassle of returning it to Amazon, so I'm keeping it as a sports bra, because I needed one anyway. But that's how tight it fits on me - like a nursing sports bra. Secondly, you can tell that this is a cheap, quickly made product from China. The inserts are the same sort of cheap things you'll find in swimsuits, and give my breasts a weird shape. The fabric and plastic used to construct the bra is thin and cheap and totally not worth $50. Thirdly, the clasps to snap the cup on and off for breastfeeding require two hands to open and close and often get stuck which does not make me or my hungry child very happy. The only good thing about this bra is that the material is soft. Overall, I'm disappointed in this product.

Great bras. Except this time- useless!
This is my fourth bravado nursing bra. Every single one has been great they've lasted at least six months if not longer this black one however I bought it about six weeks ago I didn't wear it for probably three or four of those weeks and it already is I'm not working the clips area has frayed and I'm outside the return window. For a 50$ bra this is unacceptable. I understand that flaws happen but I guess the lesson is inspect everything with a fine tooth comb within the return window. Ridiculous
