I am very disappointed in the lack of commitment to quality control when the item is assembled with a poorly cut piece just because it's "close enough". The second I unpacked it I saw it, the block at the base wasn't cut square & it's an eye sore & may effect long term reliability/stability of the tool.Then when I assembled I see that the upright piece (also in photo) isn't square too! What does that say about the manufacture's quality?It's just bad enough that it bugs me, but do I want to have to spend another day, going to buy toner, then back home to print the return label and then driving to UPS? Yesterday I got charged $3 to return a purchase that was entirely the wrong item because I couldn't print the return label.

The stitching pony is made with a very weak wood and doesn’t have good holding pressure. The leather really moves around quite a bit. I have seen more pictures of other ponies and will make my own the next time

I absolutely love this tool! I’m teaching myself how to do wire weaving/wrapping, I only have one hand so it is a challenge for me! This will hold the wire for me and I can move it around to what angle I need! I would recommend this as an essential tool!

This works pretty well for small projects like wallets, but even tightened down as far as possible, it still slips and lacks the gripping leverage. It would be completely useless for anything over wallet/pouch or small belt size projects.
