Q: I’m seeing that they are a little transparent. I’m trying to cover up hideous tiles in a rental that have a cottage/farm pattern on. Will these cover?

Hi We have an artificial fireplace and it has wooden surround(which I hated) so I used these to cover over it and I didn't think they were transparent they went on perfectly and have stayed on 2 years later.

Q: Can these only be stuck to existing tiles? I have a painted wall behinfd the hob I need to cover as a splashback. Thanks

This tile sticker can be stuck on any clean, flat and smooth surface. Please only attach to the painted surface at least three weeks after painting and clean the surface prior to application If your gas stove does not have a back panel, you must allow a minimum of 16 inches or more (at least 40cm) of space to avoid exposing the stickers to open flames.
