Don’t waste your money! Does not work it only seals out the air for a few hours, also it’s just a piece of cheap plastic that has been sprayed with silver paint i can’t believe such a big company would allow this to be sold with the branding on it

This item does the job of keeping my coffee beans in good condition until I put them in the hopper of the espresso machine so for that it is 100% OK. I have not had any real problems with loss of vacuum although one can hear the motor run every few days as the vacuum is topped up. That is not a problem but when the bean level gets low resulting in more air in the canister it can take a while forth motor to restore the vacuum. The same when it is opened to remove beans. When the level is low it takes a while to build a vacuum up again.My only real beef is that it looks a lot nicer in the pictures than it does in real life. The pictures give the impression of nice modern stainless steel but in the flesh it does look like what it is, painted plastic. For painted plastic I think it is a little on the expensive side.

After 18 months of using this product the airtight storage function stopped working. The base that is supposed to secure the batteries does not have a tight fit and e bolt on the storage lid came loose. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t but it’s annoying when you’ve bought fresh beans and it doesn’t preserve them.

i was happy and really impressed with this product . Bought in June and now in December seem that it broke . it makes the sound like is vacuuming but button on top remains lifted . Also when i open it ..at the beginning i could notice when the air was allowed back in and the smell of coffee was strong one ,. Now when i open it ..nothing happens . The lid just jumps up .I am sorry to see this happening after only few months . Contacted amazon support and i have been told i will receive a free replacement . I shall see how that goes

Bought over Six months ago... In terms of vacuum and freshness does a great job, with 3 function setting near battery housing. Works well with rechargeable batteries has they hold charge longer.Then start to experienced intermittent problem of either working or not working ... eventually stopped altogether.... disappointed as expected more from Delonghi product...
