Canon RF 24-240mm F4-6.3 is USM Lens (RF)

A really great multi-purpose lens.

This is a very sharp lens with amazing versatility. You can switch from 24mm wide angle to 240mm very long telephoto. It is a bit heavy but considering the zoom range, the weight is justified. If I could only have one lens it would be probably this or a 50mm prime. Due to a glitch in the pricing algorithm, the current price is $19,686.45, about 20x more than the actual price (which is $899 without discount, and currently $799 at Amazon under another listing). I think one seller listed an international version with this very high price, possibly a scam, and Amazon's algorithm matched it. Now the price is stuck to this ridiculous number.

Clearly this is worth 20k hah!

Anyone who could afford such a price and needed such an expensive lens would know this price cannot be right. Maybe Amazon will figure it out eventually as no one is going to buy it.

Brand new this lens is under a 1000 dollars on this same site yet this one fit almost 20 grand is here. Seriously Amazon. Pay attention to this crap.

totally worth $19000 best purchase ever. all of a sudden I'm a pro photographer making hundreds a week.update: don't buy it from this seller. I found out it actually retails for $800 new. I got scammed 😥

$19k for a lens that normally cost $799. Stay far away.

I already had the 24x105 but I wanted to keep the 24x and add some length. The 240x made it so that I didnt have walk around with more lens than I needed and this fit the bill. looking forward to trying it out on holiday next month.

Ich kenne etliche abwertende Bezeichnungen und Vorurteile gegenüber solchen Zoom-Objektiven wie dem RF 24-240 und ja, auch ich habe bisweilen eher abgewunken und fast ausschließlich auf lichtstarke Festbrennweiten gesetzt.Aber dann kam der Tag, an dem ich mich entscheiden musste, ob ich drei einzelne Objektive mit in den Urlaub nehme, oder nur ein einziges und auch wenn ich mir meines Tun zu dem Zeitpunkt nicht sicher war, habe ich es gewagt und dem RF 24-240 eine Chance gegeben.Ohne das ganze hier ins unermessliche Ausarten zu lassen, das Canon RF 24-240 ist ein modernes Reiseobjektiv mit beachtlicher Leistung und in Verbindung mit der R6 II liefert es wirklich ordentlich ab.Selbst kreative Nahaufnahmen und smoothes Bokeh, sind mit dem Objektiv möglich 🤩Dazu ein schneller, absolut zuverlässiger Autofokus, egal ob im AF-S oder AF-C und auch die Abbildungsleistung, ist für so ein Objektiv mehr als beachtlich. Sicherlich wird da intern in der Kamera schon etwas nachgeholfen und die gröbsten Abbildungsfehler direkt korrigiert, aber am Ende zählt das Ergebnis und das ist für mich absolut zufriedenstellend 👍Ein besseres 10- fach Objektiv hatte ich noch nicht in der Hand und ja, das RF 24-240 ist kein Schnäppchen, aber ich würde es jederzeit wieder kaufen.Einzig das man der Meinung ist, bei einem tausend Euro Objektiv die Gegenlichtblende einsparen zu müssen, das darf gern als Frechheit bezeichnet werden 😤Schämt euch Canon 👎*alle Fotos sind mit dem RF 24-240 & R6 II entstanden und JPEG out of Cam
