We had such a difficult time getting our newborn to sleep independently in her bassinet. This really seemed to help. It has a really strong vibration, even at the lowest setting, so we actually put it under her bassinet mattress and that seemed to work perfectly for her. It works with an app, so easy to turn on and off without bothering the baby. I saw a lot of reviews have issues with how often they had to change batteries, so I just also ordered a set of chargeable batteries, which was a good call. It’s not a perfect magic mat, but it definitely aids in soothing your baby.

This is a terrible product it's too thick for a bassinet and two small for holding your baby. The baby has to stay on it just right for it to be effective. As others have said it is very strong vibration. It does not soft it's slightly stiff and it takes days for it to flatten out after it gets out of the box. Mine never flattened out. The app is terrible to use. Functions of the mat itself are hard to use because you can't find the buttons easily.

Ok, so to be clear, I don’t use the app. We needed continuous and on the lowest setting under her mattress is perfect.Secondly, the batteries. It’s going to eat through batteries if you use it all night. So would a flash light, phone etc if left on all night. The complaints about having to charge batteries are ridiculous to me. Buy two sets of rechargeable batteries and swap them out each day 🤦🏽‍♀️For us that small minor inconvenience is worth the sleep it provides.I’d recommend this product

Giving it 3 stars currently because the mat itself seems to be doing well. However the app does not work and that is VERY inconvenient.It connected to my phone the very first time but if you shut it off, you have to reconnect each time. When I turned it off while feeding my LO to save battery and when I went to turn it back on using the app before laying my LO down, the app would not connect to my phone. I even uninstalled and re-installed but no success.Obviously you can turn the mat on manually but it makes it very inconvenient when baby is already asleep and I'm trying to turn on the mat and not wake baby in the process before laying him down.

I was really excited for this mat for our two month olds’ bassinet. It worked well to help him sleep longer, but it is very thick and you have to change the batteries twice per week if you plan to use it all night every night. We had to put a layer of rolled up pillow cases around the mat under the bassinet mattress or else there was a two inch drop off the mattress because the mat is thick depth wise and narrow width wise. It is also a real pain to change the batteries so frequently. Ultimately, the batteries ran out and I didn’t bother to change them anymore. It’s feasible to change the batteries more frequently with a bassinet mattress, but it would be a real hassle to change the batteries if the mat was under a crib mattress. I’d suggest finding a smaller product with better battery life. It’s also too expensive for all the work that has to go into it.

I bought this initially to help my 2 month old soothe back to sleep instead of having to get up so often to place the pacifier back in. It has in fact worked like a charm! He is able to sleep more sound and only wakes to eat. If the pacifier pops out, we no longer play the paci pong game! The best feature is the Bluetooth setting!! I can control from my phone! Definitely recommend.

These mats were & are life savers - we have two & they’re great, with only two complaints:1. The “power” / intensity is wildly different between the two mats. We can have one of them at the lowest “1” setting, and the other at “3” - and sometimes that’s still not matching. It’s just odd.2. The app is super simple, which is great on one hand - but you can’t add a second mat to the app. First world problems, but it’s still a thing.Overall, these were an awesome purchase & we do NOT leave home without one.

It is decent but it’s a pain to adjust and having to always change the batteries is a drag. This needed to have rechargeable batteries cause when the batteries die and baby sleeping it is just to hard to change them. The vibration adjustment's is hard to do with the actual buttons and if you don’t have your phone handy you are stuck pushing and pushing them till you find the correct vibration you want.
