PERFECT flexible blade for breasting out ducks and other game birds!
I bought this Morakniv Flex after having used a buddy's and my brother's several times for breasting out ducks and other game birds. The thin, flexible blade is PERFECT for field dressing birds. I have not used it to field dress big game, but I bet it would be great for that as well; however, the flexible blade sticks out in my mind as ideal for breasting out birds. The Morakniv Flex knives I used belonging to my brother and friend had a different handle than this one, but the blade was identical. This handle is larger and easier to grip, and I like it a lot.Excellent price point as well. Stainless is tough to sharpen, but it holds an edge great, and this knife comes razor sharp. Break it, no problem replacing it.

it weighs nothing
had it for several years know and use it with a SAK ranger 78, and its a great combo. You can filet a fish or lightly baton, but only with a baton that its about an inch in diameter, no more. Carving wedges prior would be best, really to spare the tool that. but you never know. I also carry a tomahawk to do such things when I am not on just a hike.alone it so light, and flexible, I does need attention to maintain a sharp cutting edge for some items.Wood, np even with a semi sharp edge, but I carve a lot of bacon on the trail and for somereason fatty foods need a sharp toothy edge. Anyway, its easy to sharpen with few swipes of a diamond or ceramic rod, and stop once, only one or two strops watching the angle.and your good for a while. Great knife, for ultralight hikers and pinics, also a folding sak wavy knife, so you can cut a loaf of bread with smashing it, for picnics.again ,great knife, super light weight, easy to keep sharp

Great for kitchen or camp
The thinner blade on this Mora is perfect for kitchen tasks. It’s not paper thin or weak, just thinner, which makes slicing meat and veggies a breeze. It would make a great general campsite knife as well but don’t think about processing firewood. Like typical Moras mine arrived extremely sharp. Given its price and practicality, there is no reason not to add this to your Mora collection.

Great for food preparation
A very thin knife that has a slightly flexible blade. It is great for food preparation, at home or the camp site. It is also good for cutting thin "feathers" from wood for kindling. However, I would not use this knife for any heavy duty wood cutting/carving. The handle is comfortable and has a finger guard. I purchased two of these since they work so well. The sheath is plastic, but holds the knife well. A good value product.

Great little knife
This knife is amazing. Paper thin and very flexible, it's the closest thing to a lightsaber that exists. The thin stock and flat grind takes a keen edge that just slices like a demon through anything, from meat to cardboard to rubber as it was designed for. Obviously it isn't built for strength, but a knife like this shouldn't be pushed too hard anyway. What it does, it does better than anything else.

Not my favorite Mora
This is probably the only Mora I don't like (well, maybe this and the Eldris), and I have quite a few. I don't really work with it in the garden because I'm constantly afraid of chipping the very thin blade, and I don't use Moras in the kitchen (which I know some people like to do). I think at some point in a very distant, over-sharpened future, it could be a good fillet knife... but as of now, I can't carve wood with it and I can't cut much more than some herbs with it without a fear of completely wrecking it. I also noticed that the blade doesn't seem to sit completely vertical in the handle -- there appears to be a bit of a "V" shape from blade tip to handle end. I do, however, like the clippy sheath, so I'll use that if I ever break the clip on another knife's sheath.
