I’ve bought these scissors for each of my children having babies! And a pair for “Amma’s house” so I’m ready for visits!

I've never gotten the hang of nail clippers, ESPECIALLY for a baby. I bought these because my nail scissors have a sharp point to them and was afraid if he moved I might poke him. These scissors are great! They are sharp but I don't have any fear of hurting him when cutting his nails. I misplaced them and missed them so much I bought another pair. I located the lost pair and now have 2. I use the extra one myself. Highly recommend this brand, though it is a little pricey.

I would really say, if you want to spend some GOOD money on some high quality build, feel, and performance children's scissors, these are a good decision. My sons have been using my super sharp and pointy adult nail scissors, which has been scaring me. I bought these because their fingers are smaller and they do not need the point just yet, that's what keeps me employed with their lives. : - ) I can comfortably let them cut their fingernails and frayed skin. The build quality feels as if they will last forever, so the initial investment is a good cost benefit analysis.

These are surprisingly easy to use, safe tips and actually easily cut the nails without effort. I tried numerous scissors previously which were difficult to use to cut fingernails.

Full disclosure: I did not get these for use on myself. I ordered them to cut mats out of an unruly long'haired cat's fur.Do they work well for this purpose? Oh, yes, very well indeed, and there is a greatly lessened risk of poking her with the manicure scissors I was using.These scissors have a fine sharp edge, and get the mats out with little trauma to either of us.I like them enough that I may have to order another for myself.

Nicest small nail shears I've used. And not very ergonomic.I bought these for my adult nails for travel. The curve of blade is perfect and it cut cleanly each time both toes and fingers. No filing required afterwards. That never happened before with $6 similar scissors. I'd been using a nice pair of regular office shears for years and had better results than a cheap nail scissors. Love that they aren't like a dangerous sharp weapon at the end (the baby version) so I don't feel like I need to be careful with them at all while I'm using them.Wish the fingerpart was a little wider so that they were more comfortable to use when putting pressure when cutting. That's the only thing keeping this from being a 5 star purchase. This is a solid nail scissors except for the ergonomic issue.

These scissors are a whopping 3 parts, 2 blades and 1 bolt. That bolt is fails on every level. To start its a T-6 head, if this means nothing to you it should. If it were meant to be serviceable put something that people have like a... phillips? slotted? heck why not a T-15? But no its a T-6, i love fetish objects but this is psycho level. Being a psycho who owns a T-6 screw driver and who feels like I must fix everything I own I set out to tighten the bolt, too tight and they lock out thus eliminating the cutting action. Or you get them just right and after a few little cuts the bolt has loosened and again eliminated the cutting action. Don't waste your money unless your into scissors that don't cut.
