Efficient and cute
Got this to set up something for at least 1 community kitty since we are expecting a hard freeze throughout the week (Jan in TX). The thought was modify something fairly easy to assemble that could be used in the cold and heat. For background, my husband grew up in the rodeo circuit raising sheep and pigs. We chose to use duct insulation cut to fit the panels, then applied 3M Super 77 spray adhesive (photo add for reference). Went with this since it cures in a few minutes. Added a fair amount of straw purchased locally for bedding and done. This was pretty easy to assemble. Came with all parts needed. You'll need at least a screwdriver. The most difficult part was our added step for insulation. We decided not to cut out the ventilation holes for extra insulation but plant to do so for the summer. Overall took about 2 hours. We now have a cute kitty hut. Costs less than what other options offered too. I really wanted something that would be durable and easy to maintain. One of our frequent visitors is a chonky boy cat who popped in to check it out. He fits well in there with still some room. We like the slope of the roof thinking the snow will slide off. Not sure yet about it's waterproof ability but will update later if it doesn't stand the test.

Cute cat house
Very cute cat house. Easy to put together and surprisingly sturdy. It is in a sheltered area, so it should last for a few winters. So far, worth the price.

Palram Pets Mona Outdoor Cat Shelter
The shelter does not seem as weatherproof as it looks online. It is a slightly flexible, manufactured wood/heavy cardboard type of material for the bottom, two sides, and one end with the flap door. I only set it up yesterday, so I do not know how well it will stand up to the elements. The plastic rings and screws as a method of attachment for the swinging doors is actually pretty nice. The small push in posts to connect pieces is simplistic, but they seem to hold well. There will be a couple of extra screws, a nut, and push plugs-which is always a plus.Pro:I really like the clear plastic end with swinging door and the small clouded plastic overhang you can place over the other swinging door.Con:The swinging doors leave large spaces for wind, rain, or snow to get in if it falls the right way.Pro:I really like the magnet to keep the clear plastic door open as the cats get used to the shelter.Pro:This is a very nice, large sized shelter, I fit two small self heating pads in it easily, and a few to four regular sized cats will definitely fit comfortably.Con:The feet barely raise the shelter off whatever surface you'll put it on, I don't think I would place this directly on the ground, I have it on my back deck.Overall, I do like this shelter, I hope it holds up well and proves to be worth the cost.Update:It is now 1 year, 3 months since I put this shelter out for the feral cats to use. It has held up phenomenally well in this time, and through all kinds of weather, but mainly extremelywet conditions, with a lot of rain, about 30 inches of snow and ice, multiple cats, and the summer sun. The spaces around the swinging doors is a bit of a "Con" point, as I initially suspected, but it isn't terrible at all. This cat house does not leak, and has not degraded in any way since the day I placed it outside. Since then, several cats have happily withstood snow, rain, ice, and wind in it.I'm definitely pleased with this purchase.

Good Little House for Porch Cats
I needed a small house that would actually fit on my porch, that I could actually afford, for the two porch cats that decided I was their new Mom. My porches are shallow and wind can blow rain in sideways so I needed something that would shed the rain well, fit as close to my house as possible in the small allotted space, that the cats would feel comfortable going in and out of. The 'civilized' cat loves it and has used it to shelter from rain and once when all of his normal sitting chairs were occupied by people and he wanted a nap. I put a flexible heated pad in it for winter. The more feral cat I don't think has used it but we will see as the weather cools. I like the fact it has a front and back door so the skittish one can escape and not feel trapped. After reading all of the reviews, I switched the doors so I have some visibility into the house from front or back. I have tied open the front door until they get used to using it. I used a clear silicone caulk around the roof ridge and the front and back panels but left the floor uncaulked so I can get the heated pad plug in and out seasonally and just in case it gets water in it, it will drain out. I found it easy to assemble. One screw hole did not line up but it holds well enough for its purpose. I suppose I could have gotten out the drill and made it better but it is fine. If you have ever assembled any Ikea furniture, the instructions are similar. All pictures. Set out all of your tools and open up and sort the screws and fasteners BEFORE you begin to make sure you know which are which and that all were included. Assembly was fast enough (20 minutes) and not hard as long as you look carefully at the photos and have your fasteners sorted ahead of time. I would buy again.

False product description
The material is not what it claims to be. It is flimsy, not water proof and would crumble in any form of outdoor weather. It is literally fancy cardboard… don’t waste the money.

Great for outdoor cats
I bought two of these houses a few weeks ago because we have several feral cats. I love that it is big enough for two cats. I put a warm fleece blanket inside and the cats love it. It is well made and it was easy to put together. My neighbor was impressed with the shelter he bought one too. If it gets very cold we add a heated pad. I’m very pleased with my purchase and would recommend it.
