Amazing and affordable
This has been perfect for what I look for in bass/sound quality. I have a 2016 4 door jeep wrangler that needed an upgrade in speakers. Their stock speakers didn't suffice. I have upgraded the speakers in the back soundbar and in the front and the front 2 tweeters. Adding the rockville was the best thing that happened to my system upgrade. It produces great bass and I can actually hear my music with the panels/top off, which i am so happy about! It also really brings out the highs from the tweeters. Tweeters themself were a good upgrade, but this just enhanced the quality. The overall install was about 3-4 hours.

I bought this setup for mainly convenience and space saving since I wanted to add a little bass to my Toyota Yaris Hatchback. The 10” is a bit bigger than expected however it still fits nicely in the back of my Yaris with some room to spare. This sub definitely hits harder than I thought. It may not have the clarity and be distortion free at higher volume levels like the brand names subs I’ve owned in the past, however this unit is a great value and provides plenty of bass. I don’t regret this purchase at all and would highly recommend if you are interested in a budget sub/amp combo with more than adequate bass.

Great product, don't expect to install the day you receive it....
The powered subwoofer is perfect for my application. Installed in a jeep wrangler that only has dash speakers. It is perfect to add the additional sound to round out a normally malnourished system. I am not looking for booming, thumping bass though I believe the sub is capable of that. The only issue that I had was that the day I received the sub I wanted to do the install as I was busy all weekend, the amp wiring kit did not come with the sub, it was shipped separate. I received the sub on Friday, made an extra trip to town (26 miles round trip) bought an amp wiring kit and did the install. I received the kit that I bought with the amp on Tuesday. My thinking that is if you are going to sell the sub as a kit and all of the components are branded the same, why keep them in separate warehouses? Get everything together and ship it all together. Now I spent extra on a kit for the install and have a kit laying here that I don't need. Otherwise, great product, just some simple logistical problems that someone needs to sort out.

Decent value, could use some improvement
First off shipping was pretty quick. The install kit did come two days after the sub though. The install was pretty straightforward, install kit is pretty generic so it has a lot of extra parts depending on how you're installing it.The sound is pretty good, it's not a vibrate hour whole car kind of sub but it did make the 20 gear old factory sound system that was already there sound better. The straps that come with it, are horrible. Both of them broke the first time I went to tighten them, I ordered some other straps that use metal holders to tighten them.

Bringin’ a smile to my face
I wanted to write this to give a big thumbs up! My subwoofer has been installed in my boat a couple of weeks and I am impressed.First of all, my 10 inch powered subwoofer came delivered with an installation kit for less than $100, so my expectations weren’t overly high. But the amp felt solid with quality connectors, and the tube was well built and covered in durable nylon carpet-like material.Second, my application is to provide some needed bass support for a stock sound system in a 24’ bow rider sport boat. I’m a relatively hand guy, and installed the ported bass tube pointing down to the bottom of the hull, located just behind the dashboard in an area protected from direct water spray. My goal in all of this was to simply test out the effect of a powered subwoofer of this size before sinking $500-$1,000 into a professional installationThe verdict!? 3 weeks into summer on this boat and this subwoofer is performing like a champ. Note that my system has 6 other speakers spread around the cabin, all powered by a stock 4-channel Fusion RA70n receiver, pushing about 23w RMS per channel. This system is not loud enough to play music under full engine power. But at anchor the system is plenty loud, and this sub fills in perfectly in the lowest registers.Check out Ariana Grande’s “Break up with your girlfriend, I’m bored” and you’ll hear exactly what I am talking about.Great job, Rockville!

Terrific value for reasonable expectations
I bought the 10" tube to replace a different powered sub setup that didn't fit well in the truck of my Saab 9-3 convertible. The Rockville has 90% of the performance at half the price of my old setup and is an infinitely better fit for my car. The key is that I knew this going into it and was careful with tuning my headunit and the sub to avoid sloppy, booming bass. I found that setting the gain at max, lowering the cutoff dial to about halfway (but still above the LPF cutoff on my HU), and keeping the bass boost at no more than 60% or so gives me just about the same punchy bass guitar and kick drum for rock that I had with the old setup. A nice complement to round out the rest of my otherwise mid-range build.

Don't waste your time. Lasted 3 days.
Sound quality was terrible.Yung Gravy killed it.I have a decade of experience tuning amps/subs.This thing was just trash.I was able to save the box and replace the speaker. But the built in amp can barely push it.Don't waste your time.
