Vanille Givre Des Antilles By La Maison de la Vanille Eau De Toilette Spray 3.4 floz /100 ml

This is a gorgeous fragrance - rich warm vanilla and spices. For my own use (room or linen spray or those inconvenient nights alone) I prefer a woodsy, oriental or even aldehydic scent - favorites are L'Heure Bleu, Liu, Opium or Burberry. But this one is special. Instead of drying down, it just GROWS on the skin, getting warmer and more organic - more "me" - the longer I wear it. People believe me if I say I'm not wearing perfume, but practically every other date tells me how nice I smell. (They never ask "what is that perfume?", which I think is great). My favorite trick is to spray it on my brush and run it through my hair. From there, it spreads a subtle, warm aura of vanilla and exotic spices. Straight vanilla, cakey, and sugary scents turn my stomach but this one is vanilla for grownups. Grownups with plans for the evening. This is a keeper.

I was really excited by the almost all 5 star reviews. I had previously tried La Vanillas perfume, and this is basically the exact same stench. Very old lady!I’m extremely surprised by all these good reviews. This is definitely for older women (I am almost 30. This smells like 70+ women would wear). Very disappointed, not sure if a different vanilla by these people would be better. Not sure I want to waste $40 trying.As for the rose/tuberose scent, it isn’t here at all. I suppose I just need to stop buying perfume on amazon. At least Walmart carries the actual stuff, and for $10 more I could’ve bought a brand name. I wouldn’t get the same amount, but I wouldn’t smell like...this.Please save your money, because this and La Vanilla are basically the same. Also its better to get a name brand perfume from somewhere like Macy’s. Like I said you get less, but better to buy a perfume with lots of information about it online than have this happen. Because let me tell you, this is the second vanilla perfume I’ve bought. Will not be buying amazon based perfume again. Just pony up for something real guys.

I remembered using La Maison fragrances a while ago and was reminded how much I love this line. I ordered this as my first purchase, and I really do love this scent. It is is spicy and sweet. On me, it is not an all day fragrance. Instead, it lasts for several hours. But those hours are pretty heavenly...

I started wearing Vanille Givrees des Antilles at least 6 years ago. Without fail, everytime I wear it, there is at least one person that will say "Oh wow, what is that perfume, it's smells great!" I am someone who is very sensitive to fragrances, I can get a migraine at just a whiff of some. I highly recommend this perfume, I have no plans to change anytime soon! It's definitely a vanilla, but with a seriously spicey kick! Guys really dig it, too! Be ready for some attention!

This took me a little while to find. I originally found it in a small shop in Montana and loved the smell. It’s an almost musk vanilla but very light, i was so happy to find it here.

My partner has been using it for years to her and my delight. A little pricey though. Not sure I'll repeat.

This is my signature scent. I don't even want to tell you how amazing it is because I want to keep it all to myself...but since the seller got it out so quickly, and price was so fair I figured it was the least I could do. Amazing product, excellent service.

Really nice sensual powdery scent.Great deal for the money.Would have given it a 5 but it's not my personal favorite,that would still go to Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue.
