20Pcs Seedling Pots, 12 Grids 4cm Square Plant Seedling Pots Biodegradable Fibre Transplanting Pots for Plants Fruits Vegetables (16 x 12cm)

Used a few of these to plant seeds and watered the seeds but the cardboard doesnt seem to go soft or fall apart so good. Ive not transplanet into the garden yet but I am happy.

These are very good pots, but I’m anticipating that when the moment comes, they’ll be messy to separate the individual pots from their 4x3 set. Half way through sowing, I had the idea of folding the pots along the connecting seams; hopefully they will separate cleanly. We’ll see!I’ve also noticed that with one end of a 4x3 sat in water, the water doesn’t necessarily soak up to include all 12 pots.

... should have really thought it through, but most such items are all the same size (4cm). Really only suitable for sowing individual seeds, not for potting on. I found that for most seedlings originally planted in a seed tray, these were a bit cramped for ricking out and potting on. I've since bought some 6cm and 8cm ones, that are much better.

Small fibre pots. Not too robust but if like me you have problems with mice eating bean and pea seeds before they germinate these small pots just fit one bean or pea in each with a Teaspoon of compost .I leave them to germinate and this autumn planted broad beans into veg plot when 2cm high and a good strong root already through the fibre pot bottom. Exactly what I required. No waste and didn’t take up too much room on the shelves germinating.

I can’t get on with these, found them very small and dry out quickly, maybe I’m not used to using this type of thing.
