Q: How far down should I push my mole repeller stake in the ground?

I took a sharp metal rod and made a hole before pushing the mole stake in the ground. It’s been so dry that the garden soil was really hard and I did not want to damage it. The directions said not to push on the front of it.

Don’t know about spiders. I bought for voles and moles and tried for a week but it didn’t work and sent back
