I bought this as a gift for my daughter (and another different colour for my other daughter). My girls are eight and nine and are starting to accumulate a collection of age appropriate lip glosses and nail varnish, so I decided that this would be perfect to store their collections in one place whilst making it easy to move around.The reason for dropping a star to give a rating of 4/5 is because the mirror doesn't stand up alone very well, so I will need to look at a way of making it more stable for them.The storage capacity is reasonable for the size, but anything bigger than a standard sized nail polish bottle (laying down) needs to be in the lower compartment because the two upper levels are more shallow.It doesn't have a lock with a key, but the clasp and hinges feel quite sturdy, and the quality is good for the price, but is not as robust feeling as my own, but that cost more than three times more for a similar size.

I love the fact that I can open this up and view each tray to find things but it does take up quite a lot of room when open and tends to tip if you have a little bit too much in the top layer. Also everything needs to be put back in perfectly flat in order to close.

Robust little case with surprising amount of internal space. Lots of trays and a clear mirror, although the ribbon holding it upright might be a weak point... Arrived in plenty of time for Christmas and was well protected by packaging.Looks great and is very practical.

Very well made and practical item - much loved by my daughter and loads of space to put her make-up in - very happy with it
